BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
So I have been really struggling with this decision and a perfect example of an E90 M3 has come up and I wanted to gauge interest in my car, the struggle lies in the fact that I am starting to really enjoy the F80 but I'm still gonna post it up and see how it goes.

I've had the car for 6 month, third owner, daily driven by an adult, 95% of the miles I put are highway, car is mechanically sound. I am running BM3 stage 1.

The car is fully loaded except full leather, every other option is included, it has CCBs which are amazing, they have a ton of life in them, car has not been tracked. It has the carbon fiber roof as well.

Lightly modded with catback AA valveless exhaust, will come with stock muffler also. Swift springs, m performance shift knob and brake handle. It has a BM3 stage 1 tune on it which can be removed if you would like.

I have 12 mm spacers by rouge engineering, VRSF intake, and the VTT crank hub and capture plate, they have not been installed yet but will come with the sale, that's over a $1,000 in parts that will come with.

46k miles currently and will go up as I drive it. Like I said, drove great, clutch and shift action are perfect.

Pictures have my winter tires on, I'd sell with summer rubber, 75% life on fronts, rears will soon need replacement.

Priced at $41,000. I am willing to ship at the cost of the buyer and once payment has cleared.

Yea I don't have a problem with that, but at buyers expense. Car was previously in Cali.

Not the springs, intakes have not been installed yet, I will keep the stock intakes when they are installed.

Put a deposit down on another car, price is at $41,000, I will no longer be doing the crank hub install but the car will come with the parts as part of the sale.

Currently the car just rolled over to 46k miles. It'll be parked in an indoor climate controlled garage as soon as I take delivery of my car.

What made you go back to an E9x? I just sold mine and have been tossing up the idea of getting an F80 as they seem more comfortable to DD and all the new tech is nice for taking clients out. S65 + exhaust is what got me and what makes me want to go back to an E90.

The F80 is a great car and on paper it's better in so many ways than the E90. The sound and steering on the E90 are soooo much better. Tech wise, aside from back up camera and some safety things like lane assist and forward collision warning there isn't much more, I think the E90 has a cleaner interior. Gas mileage is a little better on the F80. I think comfort between the two is pretty even.

I made the switch for 2 reasons, I found a pretty rare low mileage E90 for what I felt was a fair price and the F80 didn't feel like a "special" car to me like the E90 does, the overall experience getting from point A to B in the E90 was more of an event to me. They don't make motors like the s65 anymore, wanted to own one before prices start to really rise on these.
