Sometimes it is just personal taste.

For sure the GTS is a fantastic car, but in comparisson to my M4 Performance I did not want to change.

The styling of the DTM Edition I really like in comparison to the GTS.

Agreed, they don't seem that different to me. The GTS is slightly more track focused with better and adjustable aero. Some may dislike the more prominent styling of the GTS, particularly the orange accents. That is why I like the GTS in black the most, the various accessories and orange accents integrate best with BSM. I personally prefer the the look of a BMS GTS over the DTM edition.
