Video: Weird Whirring/low Siren sounds at low rpms

I’m getting a weird whirring/siren like sound when accelerating. I can hear it only in low rpms and when I’m going fairly slow speeds. My engine is stock and my mods include a cat back exhaust, aftermarket wheels and coilovers.

Here’s a clip. Kind of hard to hear but it’s the low pitched whir or hum.

Not sure if it’s from the drive train or engine bay.

Need some input!

Mine makes a low pitched drone when I'm moving slowly. The source of the noise is probably the differential and I'm told it's normal for this car.

Is your sound a consistent tone or does it change as you accelerate?

Hmm someone on a Facebook group just mentioned that it may be an exhaust cam bearing. Can anyone corroborate that statement? Very interesting.

Sounds like turbo whine between 2000-2700rpm.

By George, I think you’re right. I changed my diff fluid thinking it was my diff but the sound persisted. Then I noticed that it’s more prevalent in sport+ than in efficient. Also the sound is there when revving in neutral. It’s mainky between 1.5k to 2.5k rpm as well.

Is this normal? Doesn’t seem so. I wonder if my turbos are going bad?

I actually changed the diff fluid and the sound is the same. I’m pretty sure it’s the turbo as the sounds are more pronounced when it’s on sports plus than efficient.

When it's loud at idle and sounds like a siren with the windows down.

Ah there’s no sound at idle nor can I hear it when the windows are down. It’s mainly when the windows are up and I’m around 2k rpm to about 2.7k rpm and more so when at sport plus

Mine does the same...Had it checked by Dealer who indicated normal operation. I'm confident it's the bearing in the Turbo letting the wheel slowly hit the casing causing the siren noise. Others have said it's just a whiney turbo. It hasn't gotten any worse in the last 2 years so I'm living with it.
