Yes we have Aral Ultimate 102 Octane and Shell V Power with 100 octane but this is ROZ and in the USA the people talks about (ROZ+MOZ)/2)
US 87 is EU 87 US 90 is EU 95 US 93 is EU 98 I think it is like this but i am not sure. Also in germany all tuners talks about MHP not WHP. |

I have a gas station up the street from my house that sells 100 octane, and E85 here in Arizona. We also only have 91 as a premium, no 93. The only reason they sell 100 though is because it's on the main road that goes out to the race track. I have not seen too many stations that sell 100 in my travels. Just some reference as to what is available.
PS I ran my other cars on Map 2 with 91 and it was fine (same written requirements from BMS), the last one had good logs with E85 and without. ADDED: Really the best resource for anything JB4 related is N54Tech.com, much more indepth info and support.

For example, I thought the JB4 cleared the codes automatically when you have catless downpipes, but it doesn't with the configuration out of the box. I had to find some random thread that tells you to set FUD = 90 in the JB4 app. It took me awhile to even figure out that FUD means "Future Use D"! Back to the original topic, I'm currently running 94 octane (with 10% ethanol) on Map 2 with catless downpipes. Runs nice and smooth with plenty of power. |

In their defense, things change all the time with the firmware and most guys who are changing individual settings are pretty familiar with how the box works. I am guessing the reason they don't make a page with lots of info is because it can change at anytime and then they would have to change the info across a lot of forums etc. In my experience reading all those posts in line gives a good idea about little random details and stuff so when you get to that phase in your tuning you already have all the answers. I agree though there could be a little more organized way of sharing that data somewhere.

100 OCTANE
Some gas stations attendants know 100 octane as "Motorcycle Fuel"
Also, a lot of motorcycle shops sell 5 gallon drums of race fuel, or race fuel and you bring your own gas can to fill up. We are relatively lucky here in Charlotte, NC as we are a race town and the're a fair number of stations that sell 100 octane fuel. |

Hey I just got a jb4 installed yesterday! added 4.5gallons of e85 to a full tank of 91 last night and am running map2 and loving it so far. I was wondering if I could add torco on top of this and maybe run map7?

Mike E85 Mixtures: We've done limited testing with E85 mixtures and found that the platform seems to be largely tolerant to up to 4-5 gallons of E85 per full tank of pump gas. Higher mixtures normally result in fuel trims maxing out and engine stuttering or misfiring. Raising "open loop" from the default value of 60 to 70 can help allow a bit more power on E85 but may also increase the likelihood of a "fuel pressure too low" fault code. We suggest map 2 for E85 mixtures as it offers the best all around compromise of power and reliability with it. The Stage3 fuel connector is required for any E85 mixture. Map 7: Race gas map. Requires 100 octane unleaded fuel and for the fuel mass connector to be installed. Can be used with or without the EWG connectors but will make more power with the EWG connectors installed. This map can also be used with up to 35% E85 but in some vehicles & conditions this may cause a high fuel pressure drop and resulting stuttering. If this occurs drop down to map 2. |

I ran jb4 map2 with 91, when the weather was cold I didn't have problems but in the summer it started to go to limp mode, therefore I stopped using it till fall. Btw I was having the limp mode after few laps on Trackdays, I didn't have it meanwhile driving on the streets.

One, holy resurrection. Two, depends on octane. Three, would start with map 3 and log first. Depending on logs move up to 1/2 or 5. Boost is only one portion of the equation. Good luck
