Well seeing how the G8x is panning out, chances are this one will last a little longer...okay who am I kidding, once the crazy deals start up for the G8x bc no one wants to buy the fugly, this one will be up for LT just as fast. I’m sure the G8x is going to be phenomenal to drive, and I’m cautiously optimistic the design grows on me. I can’t get off the BMW crack!!

I recently picked up a G20 330ix as my DD and its chassis/suspension tuning is a huge step in the right direction compared to the stock tuning on my F82 (switched to MCS 2WR suspension setup) and F22 240 (switched to MCS 2WR suspension setup). If improvements to the G8x are similar to the G20 then it’ll likely be a better all-around car compared to the F8x minus its looks.

The CS exterior was built almost perfectly but I'll never understand why the M4CS badge is chrome.

The competition cars come with a nice looking black badge. Chrome badges are for base models smh and look terrible IMO.

A g20 330i handling compared to an f82 m4 what lol.

You didn't say it's superior but I'm confused.

Two different levels and calibers of driving dynamics I'd think.

I own an F8x but haven't driven a g20 yet

parking over the line. I believe this is required in the owner manuals, next to DO NOT USE turn signal. I'm on a business deal!!

C'mon you know better than this, gotta slam the passenger side 6 inches from that side curb! Looks great BTW. Tell me, those ceramics been acting up? Or well behaved & QUIET with no brake squealing? Side note, I prefer the chrome look too, back to basics.

Still only less than 300 miles on the clock, but I can hear the CCB occasionally. However, I'm use to the notorious school bus brake squeal from my previous X5M (albeit without CCB, but just ask any owner and they will confirm), so if it gets more frequent it will just be an auditory reminder of the expensive option I elected this go around!

Thanks...have to add more miles, less than 300 still. But HiFi sounds better to me than HK, as we discussed in that other thread

Congrats again Kief.

Am taking a break now from the M3. Swapped it for a 2016 Cayman GTS. Mid Engine Flat 6 bliss
"Wavy CS hood"...you probably just gave my buyer a heart attack!! Car is being shipped to him tomorrow to CA. For the record, all the CS hoods from the factory that I've seen, including my new M4CS, have a slight variation.

And don't jack my thread with that delicious GTS
Yep, I questioned that on my M4CS when I first got it. It's how the paint bonds to the Carbon Fiber. Gives it a "Wavy" look in the clear coat...

Haha I know right? It's the thrill of the chase and not the cars anymore.

Especially at a time when you start to see people unloading their F8x to go back into an E9x M instead, I kind of doubt he thinks the F8x is THAT great lol

I was never a fan of the E9x M design, especially in E90 M guise. I still think the F80 M3CS is the hottest, right behind my all time favorite, and what brought me to the BMW brand so many years ago, the E46 M.
