If your REM version is mid 2015 or newer (any older and you will need to update first), you will need to add the word "HELC" (without quotes) to the HO-WORT section of your VO in e-sys and then VO code the REM. Steps for doing that can be found here: https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...24&postcount=4

No problem, I did the LCI blackline retrofit in my 2014 F32 with proper harness so it was plug and play except for the coding. My REM was too old and didn't understand the "HELC" code so I had to flash my REM (and a few other modules) to a newer version.

I chose a mid 2015 version of the psdz files deliberately because 2015 was the last year you could code a custom "triple blink" amount, after 2015 you're stuck with 3 no matter what. 2015 also still allowed you to retain the setting of turning on the surround view when you put the transmission into reverse. After 2015 it automatically switches to the backup camera.

There are guys on this forum that can do the coding remotely for you, for what I'm sure is a fair price.

2022 Update

Performed the conversion today using the EAS harness. I tried the easy coding LCI option (not expert mode) in Bimmercodes and it did not function fully. I ended up using the coding provided in expert mode by the OP and all is well.

Do you happen to know what REM you were running? I also have a 2015, but I’m 99% sure that it’s running the same software it left the factory with. I’ve been wanting to convert to LCI, but don’t want to mess with having all the software updated just to accommodate LCI coding.
