Coilovers For A Car With Active Suspension

How does it work, do you loose the active suspension or are there coil-overs that work with this setup?

Bilstein Damptronic are the only ones that supposedly uses the OEM EDC. Some other coilovers use a module to delete the EDC errors.

Get the Dinan suspension setup.
It will turn your factory EDC shock into a adjustable coil over.
Keeps all EDC functions, allows your to adjust to your preferred height.
It is a great set up that I really recommend rather then getting rid of your EDC functions.

Any of the coilover systems will work on M-adaptive equipped setups, but you will lose electronic dampening control since the struts are changed. Most aftermarket coilovers have manual adjustments, make sure you specify the correct setup as the strut towers changed from a 3-bolt to 5-bolt in 1/15 production.

We're running Clubsports on our M4. For those wanting to go this route and are local - we can install and perform the needed coding.

The M3/M4 platform is a little bit more.
The M5/M6 is pretty much the same.

I cant argue the price difference.
Some people want the Dinan warranty with their suspension. And this is for them.

Just pointing out that there is another suspension option besides what was mentions above

If Dinan's sleeve kit is free from the noise (not saying it is or isn't) that a lot of people are experience with the KW HAS, then I'd say it's worth it. Warranty is nice too.

I haven't experienced a noise complaint yet from using the Dinan suspension kit.
There are differences in the Dinan and KW HAS kit.
Its in the details of the part descriptions.

You know when you look at 2 similar parts (but different brands) and 1 kit just looks a little bit better. Goes together a little better, feels a little better...that's what you get with Dinan.
