Great trip report! Wife and I both grew up in Mammoth and we go back a couple times a year. Nice seeing the pics of the postpile and the mountain. We really enjoy driving HWY 168; some really fun turns, especially if you are familiar!

I've made that drive a handful of times with full snowboard gear, but I would imagine doing it in a new M4 would be much more enjoyable! Great pics and write up! Enjoy!
