Now do you know the timing/mileage when the “light” goes on to get serviced? Trying the decrease my interval between each visit
I'm sorry, meant to respond to that. The light goes on when the car determines there are 2000kms to go. When it gets under 5k miles it goes by 100 mile intervals and the light goes on when that is 1300 miles. That said it usually hits 1300 to go before it goes yellow, so I reason it corresponds exactly with 2000kms and just shows in 100 mile intervals. I always time mine to get the service literally as the light comes on. Sometimes, they do it early. My logic is that if it's free and I go in early, I get more services. This can only be good for the car, as there are fewer miles between services. How many miles from reset to the 1250ish to go mark? It's not a clean 8750, that's for sure. Depends on how you drive. I'd guess it's somewhere between 7750 and 8250. I believe it's tied to fuel consumption. I average about 18.5mpg in mixed driving.

Did you need to do much negotiation to get those prices? Dealer is offering me Ultimate Care +4 for $7099 and schedule maintenance only for $1999. Looks like you got a much better offer. I'm also coming towards the end of my lease, so maybe that's a factor.

I'm and not sure what you mean by that? If you go to the BMW service website, it will give you the exact prices for your specific vehicle as I posted above. Some dealers will negotiate beyond those prices and some upcharge. Ultimate Care + is the maintenance with the brakes included. I believe 4 is the longest term. If the 1999 is just for the scheduled maintenance to 5/75k (no brakes), then that's a rip off. I'd say reach out to GOLFFRR at Steve Thomas BMW and he can hook you up with their finance person that gives pretty straight up deals.

Reviving this post a bit as I still haven't received complete clarity between Ultimate Care Scheduled ($899) vs say Ultimate Care +2 ($2799)? According to BMW's website for Ultimate Care+ vs. scheduled references "full maintenance" vs. scheduled maintenance. Making an educated guess here - Is Ultimate Care+2-4 include any maintenance necessary above and beyond what's standard/scheduled as listed in the manual based on miles/years?

Extend full maintenance:

Extend BMW Ultimate Care+ 1, 2, 3, or 4 additional years or 89,000 miles for a total of up to 7 years or 125,000 miles. As an owner or lessee of a new BMW, you can decide to add this coverage at any point befo...

Extend scheduled coverage:

Extend scheduled maintenance coverage beyond 3 years or 36,000 miles with Ultimate Care Scheduled which covers an additional 2 years or 39,000 miles for a total of up to 5 years or 75,000 miles.

The + adds the brakes, wipers and clutch.
