Euro Delivery Question and referral

I have a 2017 M4 convertible with 4 payment left. I am looking to pick up a car in August Euro Delivery. Will this be a 2020? I am looking to replace my hardtop convertible with new on.

Do you guys have a suggestion as to a dealer that works close with Board Members. I live in Miami, Fl

Don't quote me on this, but 2020 models Wil have already begun production by the time you order.

I'd highly recommend bmwdavid. That's his username. Number one M car sales in the country.

MY20s started production in March. No more new 19s being produced.

Are 2019 or 2020 M3 CS in limerock grey still available ? I'm looking to lease this December in San Diego.

Is there anyway to find out? Dealers were unhelpful.

Last Model Year for the M3 (including M3cs) was 2018...

When will the pricing/order guides be updated to reflect standard Competition Package as of July 2019 production?

So I'm assuming if I order an M4 now and DON'T select competition package it will come with competition package if it is built after July?

I would assume yes, but ask for the VIR if you go this route.

VIR? I'm looking into a 2020 M4 non-ZCP and hoping this can still be done.

Also is there no updated 2020 pricing guide?

VIR is vehicle inquiry report, lists selling center, production number, vehicle ordered packages, options, paint, interior, ect. Shipping destination such as ED, PCD, or Center. Also, pricing such as wholesale i.e. invoice pricing.

Got it thank you! I talked to a dealer and they are (for now) still able to order a standard M4 non-ZCP!

I tried to order at my local BMW dealer but he demanded a full $10,000 premium above the LIST price! To his greedy defense, he had the audacity to tell me that ALL the local BMW has decided between them to ALL charge "only" $10,000. over list.

I will NEVER pay a ransom price for a car purchase. BMW dealers DISRESPECT, ABUSE and clearly show CONTEMPT towards customers.

If that's the case, I think there's more room on this car listed at $70k. I can't look at it, but what are thoughts on pricing and whether 3rd party PPI is recommended at only 3.3k mileage?

My honest opinion? That's a lot of money for a non CS M4. Since you aren't looking to get a manual, I would highly recommend finding an M4 CS in SMB (the color you want) with maybe some more miles but about the same cost. After having owned several versions of the M4, I can tell you the CS is worth it over a Comp car up to about $15-20k extra. I think you could get a nice 2020 SMB CS with like 10-15k miles in the same ballpark price. It's a no brainer to me.

Something like this, it's in CA AND it's Certified: https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...ckType=listing

I appreciate the suggestion but I am not very interested in a CS. Sounds like you do feel it’s overpriced though, which is helpful. I found another one in CA that has 30k miles at $61k. Based on that, seems 65k might be the best I can do. Just looking to get perspective on fair pricing as it’s my first M.

I'm not sure I'd say it's overpriced, just that a CS is far better pickup for near the same money. Good luck with whatever you decide, all are great cars of course!
