Hello,

I am looking to order a M5C near the end of the year. I imagine the facelift will be out by then. What type of deal should I expect to get.

Crystal ball says only high MSRP M5Cs will be left, and you will have to choose between a british green or chalk M5C with $8k in carbon fiber accent pieces.

No clue, but we can hope they either bump up the residual or through some lease cash at it like they did for the 2019s

I’m looking at leftover 2019 m5 comp. fully loaded with cb .How much of a discount should aim for. Also, are there still any incentives applied to 2019.
Thank you .
Great info !

Great thread. I am interested to lease new 2020 m4 w/comp.pkg.
Is it possible to find one for $700/month for 36 month with no down payment?
I know a few forum members got this kind of deal. If you could help me to get this done it would be fantastic.
I wouldn't pay more honestly at this point and would just wait for the new ugly m3

I'm one of the highest volume brokers in SoCal for BMW on the same forum that you're talking about . Won't burn my cover here though.

Great info !

BMW announced that 2019 lease support would end this month, so if the dealer is stuck with it, they may be more motivated to move it in the next 5 days.

If it were me, I would would offer 15% and MF of .00118 and see if they bite haha!

Yes 2019 incentives are $2500 lease cash + $2000 loyalty with a 60% residual!

I just didn't want to seem like I'm promoting the lease forum site...no biggie!

Maybe I should clarify that I'm on on the East Coast. Thanks!!

Yes, sub $700 is possible with zero down payment. Taxes, MSDs, dealer fees paid upfront though. 10k/36mo

This is a good point to make actually!

$0 down payment is not the same as $0 due at signing / $0 out of pocket

When asking for quotes online or over the phone be absolutely sure you use the correct terminology. Even the salespeople screw it up, so you really have to spell it out for them.

$0 down payment means no cap cost reduction. You are not paying down the monthly.

$0 due at signing mean everything is rolled into the lease, including all fees, DMV, doc, acquisition, even first month.

No just $500 conquest or $1000 loyalty

The x5mc is in short supply and pretty popular so no need for bmw to support the lease

Thanks
So what would be a good deal with taxes rolled into monthly payment?
Is it going to exceed 700 with taxes? I don't mind paying fees ect. at signing.

Never heard of this before ...I'm assuming it has miles though and had to have been punched (warranty started) already.

Treat it as a used car and compare the price to another similar used 2018 with very little miles.

How about 30-month leases, do those make good financial sense?

April saw a big change with 30 an 24 month leases.

It used to be a 3% and 6%, but it's now 2% and 4%, so 36 is best across the board

Thanks for your contributions to the BMW community! I've personally benefited from some of information shared on the other lease focused website you do a lot of business on. This is great information for anyone out shopping!

Do you have any insight on the used car market? With wholesale values dropping significantly recently there is a lot of talk about used car retail pricing taking a hit - but I have not seen it yet.

I assume dealers are now paying less for cars , the cars are theoretically worth ~10% less, but asking price retail for used cars, especially nicer M modes seems unaffected

Should we assume that at some point we are going to see the asking and selling prices for used cars at dealerships drop to reflect the depressed market?!

Do you think that for higher end enthusiast cars like M2,M3,M4,M5, etc that we can expect to see a drop in price or are they going to be somewhat immune and still command higher prices?

Im shopping used M4 vs maybe leasing a new one - if the used car prices dropped considerably - buying. A lightly used 2017 or 2018 would be the best deal....

Any insights ??

I'm sure there is a pre-owned sales manager here somewhere who can shed some light on this, but some luxurty pre-owned managers are crushing it this month.

If I compare last April to this April BMW deals I've done, I'm set to do about 50% more than last year. It's really confusing and interesting :

So to answer your question, I have no idea...maybe a used dealer manager can chime in?

Does BMW still charge the dealer if we buyout our leases below the residual? Anyway around this if they still do? Thx!

Not sure if I understand the question. BMW charges the dealer what?

Maybe this helps... BMWFS owns the car not the dealer. So if you buy the car at the end of your lease below the already inflated residual, BMWFS takes the hit, not the dealer.

You should definitely pay less than the buy out regardless.
