165 in a 50 zone, kph back in Canada.. that's 100 in a 35 for my American friends. Was 18 and stupid of course, begged my way out of losing my license and getting my car towed, graciously took the 500$ ticket and didn't fight it in court.

101 in a 35 on my R6 on a back road where the speed limit went from 70 to 35 in about half a mile. Got let go with a warning and a "thanks for stopping"

4 days later I got a 39 in a 35 on the same bike by a different cop. :

Worst almost ticket: F80 about a year ago. Nice Summer night. Leaving from a place and I always pass by this long road next to a University air strip. I always gun it down this road. I'm at the light as it turns green (no one next to or in front of me), look in my rear view mirrors, and only see pickup truck headlights heading towards me. So I gun it off the line. Going about 115 when I see the reds and blues (limit there is 45). I pull over slowly and it was the damn pickup truck. Only one in the area that is a police car. He walks up to me and is berating me because I'm young and then goes "Do you know what my car clocks out at? Just guess" *guesses* "97 mph. I was clocked out. I couldn't go any faster. 97mph. And you were pulling away from me still"

I couldn't hide a smile. He flipped out because it was disrespectful. I apologized, showed I wasn't a shit head, he saw my record was completely clean and then came back and goes "Ya know what. I don't feel like all that paperwork right now... how about I give you a ticket for no plate and you get yourself a front plate bracket". I am gracious. He goes back to his truck, then immediately turns around and says "It's your lucky day. I had another call. Drill some f*cking holes in to your bumper - it's the law"

Worst actual ticket: I was young so this was bad (19). Leaving my internship. Had my dad's car for the day because he needed mine that day (he had a 2011 Panamera Turbo). Anyway, I take a private highway to and from this internship, so it's usually empty and cops are lenient on it (they don't care if you're in the 80s in a 55/65 there). But like, I'm in a Panamera Turbo. So I was at least at 105 when I heard the State Trooper behind me.

He wrote me up for a 95/65. Crazy expensive and crazy pain to deal with because I was still really young. Other than my almost ticket above, this was the last ticket I received that was on my record. Luckily it fell off after 2 or 3 years or whatever it was.

Great stories here guys. I'll add another one.

An old friend got caught doing 251 Km/h in a 100. Yes 155 MPH in a 60. This was when we were 18-19ish and he had an E46 M3.

Needless to say, he got dragged out of the car, handcuffs, jail that night etc.

Cost him a few thousands in lawyer fees. You can search it up, If I'm not mistaken its the biggest speeding ticket in Canada, or was at the time (5 years ago).

Ticket says 115+ on it. Cop was on parallel carpool highway pacing me in a 997 GT3. I explained the cop why I was going so fast and it was because some complete moron was trying to tailgate me 1-2ft away in an early 2000’s Monte Carlo. I hate people.

Did a burn out in 1st and second gear in M4 with California Highway patrol right behind me. The officer was a true gentleman and wrote me a ticket for no front license plate.

Have never gotten a ticket in the F82 or the E92 before that. Worst ticket for me was 91 in a 65. I drive fast, but pick my spots. I don't drive fast in areas in which I'm unfamiliar. The cops up here more or less camp in the same spots.

I have however, been pulled over for speeding in the F82. Local police here. He just wanted to check out the car. Said he clocked me at 58 in a 40. Said, nice car, don't know how you don't do burnouts everywhere, and told me to have a nice day.

Worst ticket was a 53 mph in a 45mph on a two lane in each direction divided road (RT 74) past the CLT airport at 2pm in the afternoon on a sunny day. Worst because I was operating car in a safe and prudent manner but got picked off because there were no other cars on the road. Total BS. I'll take the ticket if I I'm driving like an ass but so frustrating when it's a blatant money grab.

My worst was two speeding tickets within 15 minutes. Both roughly 13km over the speed limit, and a total of $530.00 AUS dollars in fines and 6 points lost on my licence. Ouch!!

103mph in 65mph Zone on I 287 North in Pequannock NJ in my E36 M3 on my birthday in Feb 1999. I was doing about 145 before I saw a little dot appear over the horizon and started to slow down before he lit me up. He had turned the camera and mic on so he really could not let me go with nothing. He was a young guy, and courteous. Even wished me a happy birthday. The judge in the court fined me and suspended my driving privileges in NJ for 30 days (NYS License) Never effected my NY license or insurance (No reciprocity except for DUI/DWI)

Back in the day when I had my SRT4 neon, I raced an Evo 9 right in front of a cop, wrote me for 115 in a 65 even though I hit 165 and various other tickets. Ended up going through as one reckless driving ticket 6 points 400$ Ever since then I just hit the gas instead. Not worth stopping anymore.

I drove pretty recklessly the first year I got my f82. I really didn't realize the consequence of a speeding ticket until I actually got one, almost 13 months after I got my car.

First ticket was a 79 in a 50, on the i95. Didn't really realize how severe that was. I didn't even care about the ticket on the day of, until I'd soon realize that I had to pay almost 600$ for this to get settled to a 59 in a 50.

1 week later, I got 2 tickets for not signaling 3 times (according to the asshole NYPD highway patrol). It was 2am on a Sunday night, there was no one to signal to.

2 week after that, I got pulled over doing 89 in a 50, cause of some asshole in an Altima tailgating me. He let me go luckily, thanks to my PBA.

After this, I had developed a PTSD from anything cop related, lights, police cars, sirens : for a few months.

To add on, I also did get a full car search 2 times by NYPD Detectives.

Back in 2012, I had the perfect storm. I was 2 months away from a Middle East deployment, had literally just gotten out of a 4-year relationship that day, and was running back and forth between VA Beach and Richmond because my mom was really sick and I was helping around the house.

One holiday evening, with literally no one else on the road (so hard to judge relative speed), I got to a portion of I-64 eastbound where it opens from two lanes to 5 lanes, but decreases in limit from 70-60. Got pulled doing 123/60, radar detector never went off (they're illegal anyway). Once I saw the squad car, I just pulled right on over because I knew I was done.

State trooper berated me for being a military officer and not knowing better and called me a shitty leader, the whole 9. I stayed incredibly calm and respectful thinking he may find it in his heart to cut me a break. Took 100% responsibility.

Got a lawyer given that Virginia does not play around and I was up against a Reckless charge. He told me to get a bag packed for jail. Fast forward to the month before I deployed.

Went into the courtroom, dress uniform on, letters of recommendation, copies of previous driving history, speedometer calibration, every Hail Mary the lawyer recommended. Judge destroyed me verbally and gave the following:

$1200 fine, $600 suspended
100 hours of community service, 60 suspended
3 months license suspension, no work privileges
1 year probation, if any further infractions, all suspended parts of the sentence reinstated

Finally, 30 days jail. He literally let that sink in for what felt like 10 minutes (though it was probably 6 seconds) and then told me it was my lucky day and that I was lucky I was deploying. Suspended all 30 days and told me he never wanted to see me again. Needless to say, after that deployment, I moved to San Diego for my next tour.

Haven't been pulled over since.

It was insane, but truly an anomaly. Plus - CA doesn't mess around. Driving 80 can get you Reckless.

The big gauge in the dash, loud wind noise, and items moving at 123mph would be a clue. You know when your running 123mph.

You know when you passed 90, passed 110, kept pushing the go pedal to 123mph. That said, move to Georgia. Officer would had probably reduced the speeding ticket down to 84 in a 60. Then go to court and the DA typically charges the 84mph speed but reduces the number reported on your drivers license, for first offense if you take a plea deal.
