The F80 M3 is continuing its development at the Nurburgring and we've captured it on video once again. We've also compiled our recent F80 M3 and F82 M4 videos below.

As we've seen before, the F80 M3 continues to exhibit a planted ride and suspension, flying around the track with little body roll.

For our latest M3/M4 details and coverage see: http://www.bimmerpost.com/m3/f30m3/

I still am not a fan of the sound. It has way too much drone in it. so far this is not in the same league of the raspy metallic wail of the S54.

On the plus side it did look fast as hell through the corners.

F30 Cowbell

Third video (amongst other appearances) @2:45....At least please fix the cowbell on the new M3.

Someone at BMW HQ, please read this! Hear my plea....then we can go back and do a cure for the V8 M3.

This sounded like the auto by the gear changes. Too fast for a manual shifter like me.

Doesn't sound bad but the sound isn't exciting. S54 and S65 were exciting, unique sounds. I feel like this could sound like any other HiPo car.

I agree, sounds ok. I could live with it, and aftermarket like eisenmann could be great. But the V8 is downright epic.

And really not enjoying the farting and popping from these turbo M cars

Don't mind the popping but hate the sound. I know you can make a I-6 turbo sound good, I just hope they do it. My 1M sounded great.

Based on the sound, what's the redline? Sounds like a normal rpm range 6.5k-7k, not a high rpm motor like 8k plus...

Looks like a great car, but after hearing about the potential for the M2, I might want the smaller chariot.

It will be a very cool piece of tech but not a raw spine tingling driver's machine. I'll keep my 8400 RPM screamer with 100 less torque.

It sure does not sound high revving, like past models.

It kinda just sounds like a mild aftermarket exhaust on a N54 car. With some upshift farts.
