Does anyone know what color M4 will be displayed at the Detroit show? Is it safe to assume that it won't be the Aurum Dust color from the concept since it is supped to be a production model? I will be attendingand am just curious.

^^I would guess YMB will be the color that BMW launches at Detroit and also regular white. But we will just have to wait and see. January is SOOOOO far away its killing me

I saw the Sakhir Orange on an M6 today when I went to the local dealer. WOW!!! I was shocked. I originally was frustrated thinking I would have to get white again because I was not impressed with the new colors, but that color is classy and shows the lines of the M6 beautifully. That with full black leather should look very sharp

Just like BMW associated SMB with the M5 and Sakhir Orange with the M6, I think they'll do the same for the F8X. Yas Marina Blue for the M3 and Austin Yellow for the M4.

Edit: I meant the M6 convertible, not the M5.

I'm pretty sure Monte Carlo blue was the launch color for the F10 M5, not San Marino Blue.

I HATE WHEN I KNOW MORE THAN THE DEALERS!!! I just emailed my SA (whom ive purchased 2 BMWs through) to ask him what colors they ordered for their dealer launch car and if they know when they might receive it and told me that "its too early to tell because they havent received any allocations yet and production hasent even started". He obviously has no idea about the dealer launch order guide.

I hope you can order the 19″ Black Light-Alloy Wheel Double-Spoke Style 437 M with Mixed Performance Tires, without ordering the Carbon Ceramic Brakes.

I know that on the M6 you can only have the 20" black wheels if you order the competition package.

Anyone have data on recent model launch vehicle options vs normal production cars? I have a deposit on my dealers launch car and cant think of anything else that may be offered that I would care for. I can handle different interior trims or paint colors but any major performance options or wheel choices would piss me off.
