Any pictures of the 19" 437 non black wheels? Where does it say Nav is standard?

Looks like the M3/M4 will be in line with the M5, as navigation is standard if you build one out on the bmw website.

How would you guys configure the new M3 sedan if you were looking for an "enthusiast" version?
Meaning, the most driver-oriented M3. I own a 2004 M3 with a factory sunroof delete. Best option - or lack thereof - that I ever personally opted for. I owned 3 cars with sunroofs before my M3 and I NEVER used the sunroofs. The only time I opened them was when I had to repair leaks and squeaks coming from the sunroof. Very ironic. My point is, there are many features and options that are not very uselful to some enthusiasts. What's your take on this? Another example: I love heated seats in my M3, especially since Chicago weather is cold weather 8 months out of 12. However, I absolutely HATE and DESPISE the MKIV navigation that came with my car. It's too outdated, despite upgrading to te latest firmware and DVD map. If I could do it again, I would have ordered my M3 without navigation. Everything about it just sucks and I actually think the e46 M3 looks better and less dated with the normal business CD unit. Then again, I couldn't do away with xenons and other options, such as HK sound and lumbar support adjustment. Still, I hate my nappa leather. Worse choice ever. I much prefer the cloth interior on my friend's e46 M3. It's more durable, less slippery, and doesn't get cold/hot in extreme temps. See what I'm getting at here? Just looking to see what you guys would consider the most enthusiast centered F80 M3. |

A car that is lightly optioned but all the performance options like M suspension, carbon brakes might be considered a enthusiast car. But a car that is has heated seats ordered separately not to have headlight washers may also be considered a enthusiast car like my previous M3. I am planning on checking most of the boxes when ordering my M4. What will keep me away from ordering this car right away will be the possible ZCP pack. If BMW does what they did with M5 / M6, I would really regret not waiting. PS: I use the tilt function of sunroof on my other cars all the time and I love the light that it lets in during dark Seattle days. But I won't give the CF roof of the M for a sunroof for sure.

You have to order it as an Individual option, which is an extra $5,500. And even then, you have to work with a dealer that has experience with BMW's Individual program, and BMW has to approve your color choice after you submit your selection.

i personally don't think there is an "enthusiast" package....cmon seriously?
an enthusiast is a type of person, not the car......so you go to meets and just sit pretty and show off your car and talk car shit with other like minds (pretty boring to me) or you take it to a canyon and rip on it (fun but dangerous) or you #takeittothetrack (the only way to show you really give a shit about cars and motorsports IMO)......why did i hash tag that?? |

DCT will be an extra cost option, 6MT will be standard. Had they made the DCT standard (included in in a likely higher base price), the manual would still have been available but you would have been paying for DCT in the base price.

I was really hoping for a pure red or a royal type blue a la estoril to be available to order with the launch of this car. Do I have any reason to hope this could still happen or is it pretty likely that the options on this order guide are the only ones that will be available at launch (mineral white, alpine white, silverstone, mineral grey, black sapphire, yas marina blue, austin yellow, sakhir orange)??

Because it is a good color. After all, it is the replacement of Lemans blue. With this new color line up, you cannot get a respectable blue on an M3/4. Yas Marina is nothing I would buy. Neither is the Yellow. I am now looking at Orange. |

Not saying price is no object, but unless BMW decides to put a crazy MSRP on this car (as compared to the E90s), then it's probably going to find a warm home in my garage. But I still can't justify $9k for CCB no matter how awesome they might be. |

Well, I was starting to think those were the 18" wheels too, but then I came across this pic, which shows the 19" option... and the "other" wheel looks to have the exact same size/tire height!
Look at the two couples... those appear to be the same size diameter wheel & tire: |
