Perfect timing... i just received my 750 as well. About to install. Glad I saw this... cuz i didnt know about the BlendMount. Gonna have to pick that up.

Big favor... Can you please post some pics of the rear cam installled? By the way, do you have rear sunshade? Cuz mine does....and worried about placement of rear cam so it clears the path of the rear sun shade when it goes up.

i have it taped to the plastic housing above the 3rd brake light since i have tint and didnt want to stick it on the tint itself.

Do you have a motorized rear sunshade? If so, does it clear the camera?

Unfortunately I do not have the motorized sunshade so I'm not sure if it will clear it when it's up.

Thank you for this thread, mine is on it's way. Just curious, is fuse slot 125 off when the car is off, meaning not alive for 20 minutes after the engine is shut off? TIA.

Also, for anyone who has a 750s, the new firmware is out now 1.001, which supposedly improves image quality as well as reducing dab interference

What role does Cellink play? Does it automatically take over for parking mode once the fuse loses power after shutdown? Or does it continuously power the camera, even with the engine running, and use the car's power only to top itself up?

The celllink is used so that the camera is only ever using the power from the celllink b. The celllink B will be charged through the car from where ever you tap it from, but it will stop charging once the car is off (as long as the fuse you tap turns off after as well).

The main reason for this is to A) prevent error codes involving your stop/go (and comfort access i think) when using the power magic pro (which regulates how long the camera can keep draining from the car battery directly), and B) to prevent deterioration of the car battery itself due to constant draining straight from the battery if you are using the cam in parking mode.

Thank you. Much appreciated. I am looking at buying either this or the new Thinkware 8xx series for both cars in our household.

Mission accomplished! Thanks to OP and blackboxmycar, I probably saved $400 in installation costs. ? Took about a little over 2 hours because i had the coax ends wrong (I?m dyslexic, lol). Spent most of my time tucking wires. Now, I just need to figure out the app and what all the icons do, ?

Can you please post pic of where you mounted your rear cam? I have rear motorized shades and want to make sure it clears.

Honestly the most annoying part of the install is just tucking in all the wires, especially the coaxial cable to the rear camera due to it being very long.

Cell link B is tapped using an mini add-a-fuse from blackboxmycar to fuse 125 (emtpy).

Sample Footage (Edit: sorry, but you will have to bare with my terrible choice in music):

For reference, my front windshield is 80% tint and my rear windshield is 15% tint.

Power magic pro came with the dashcam for free. I opted to use the cell link b battery, so this was unused.
Finally installed mine... but this damn thing is so sensititive i feel like its recording all the time. What are your sensitivity settings at?

the motion sensitivity is basically useless from everything i read. i basically just turned it off. Anything from 1-10, will just have your camera on all day.

+1. The cloud alerts during normal mode were crazy today. Just gonna set it zero. On another note, just ordered a cigarette splitter to also power my wifi hotspot.

im more worried about the accidents and people hitting my car (G-sensor) than the vandals, but i get your frustration. to counter this, you can just get a big SD card and have it just constantly write to it, but you would have to go back and figure out which clip it was, since the camera will just mark everything as an event unfortunately.

i know alot of people have complained to blackvue about this, so hopefully they can fix it, but this was an issue on the older 650s as well...
