BMC is oiled also and the PIA with all these filters is the cleaning and oiling process. You have to be patient and repeat the steps a few times to get it right.

Looks like BMC is made in Italy, so there's that.
don't have time to clean and oil the filter, i prefer to install and throw away once it's dirty.. either you clean, the filter media is still clogged in micro particles of dirt.. its a big gimmick for oil and clean yourself media.. do you wash out your oil filter ad reuse? NO.. the fool and money are parted.. as I said drop in new filters, and be done with..

I installed bmc filters in my m3 yesterday.
At beginning the car lost power from low rpm but today after driving 200km it is ok.
Has your exhaust system is louder with filters?
I'm sure it happened.
When i driving normal in sport mode it is louder.
I don't understand why but it is.

I'm all about supporting forum vendors, but there are better buying options out there.... just search on AMAZON "BMC (FB647/20) High Performance Air Filter" - list price is $125.00.

I last purchased my set at $89.90... why does EAS list them at $100+, and +$64.00 over the current list price on AMAZON....? I'm sure there is a good excuse.

Cheapest isn't necessarily the best deal. A lot of time get invested in testing, writing DIYs, giving recommendations on what fits, works or doesn't work. We have an overhead and employees.

I know this seems trivial for a set of filters, but it takes work to bring product to market. Some companies are perfectly fine with slapping a ton of parts on their website and being the cheapest - that's easy to do when others are doing the work. However, when an issue arises - we are there to assist and handle any issues immediately and personally rather than forwarding your email to someone else and instead moving onto the next potential sale.

Support is important before, during and after the sale.
