My KW HAS v2 kit is making this EXACT noise. It's annoying and embarrassing. Anyone have any suggestions? I think it's coming from the upper end link area behind the caliper. Or the top hat. But I can't tell.

Mine makes the same noise. I'm modded on Bilstein PSS10. I wonder if this has to do with the front struts...

I've had this same problem for the past two months and thought it was just my car. I have the KW HAS v1 and it only happens when I do a full turn of the wheel. Curious as to what is causing this too.

My car with just Eibach springs made the same noise.. sold it before getting it 100% fixed. Dealer tried but it just clicked less after they had it.

jinsii are you on stock or aftermarket suspension?

To summarize, this same noise is present on these setups:
- KW HAS V1
- KW HAS V2
- KW HAS + GC Plates
- MP HAS
- Bilstein PSS10
- Eibach Springs

My initial guess was that the noise came from the top hat, but now that ZAGA_M3 has chimed in and he's on GC plates, I'm not so sure. It seems like the only common thread is that none of us are on stock suspension.

I'm going back to the dealer again on Thursday. Let's see what happens.

I have this EXACT same noise coming from my 2018 M4 LCI ZCP. The car has not been modified and it has never seen a track.

It is the strut mount bearing. I think perhaps people didn't use correct torque when putting the suspension together during install.

I had this issue and dealer replaced them.

it may help to get someone else to sit in the car and drive forward and back slowly whilst turning the wheel with the bonnet up. i did this with mine as i thought the issue was top mount bearing at first as mentioned previously in this post. however whilst crouching down next to the car as someone shunts it around i could hear it coming from below the centre cap of the wheel hence discovering the issue in the video above.

Just a little tip as there are a few things that could cause this.

i also had a front wheel bearing replaced under warranty a year ago that made the exact same noise (something to consider as well)

Jimboos solution worked for me. He doesnt appear to have the video up anymore. But I would PM him for the solution. All I remember was telling my shop "some guy on the internet said to loosen and tighten this bolt" and them being in utter disbelief when whatever that method was... worked! lol.

I seem to think it was a bolt around the shock collar. But dont quote me. I dont really remember. But im sure member Jimboo will tell you.
