Forgot Charcoal Filters...

While dropping in the BMPs, I didn't remove the charcoals. Running PTF Stage 1 93 OTS. Should I go back in and remove them or does it not make much difference?

Doesn’t take that long. Go back in and remove them for peace of mind!

Doesn’t matter. People run tunes with the factory airbox. The C filters may just help you hear the Intakes more.

It's worth it to go back in and pull the charcoal filters out. Wipe dust out of tubes while box tops are off (loosen band clamps for easy work).

I'm assuming the power gains are negligible (if even existent), but did you get a noticeable sound improvement? I've read mixed reviews about this and haven't seen/heard one in real life so I can't decide if it's worth the effort to remove the boomerang and all that stuff just to remove the charcoal filters. My air filters were just changed this spring so waiting to remove the charcoal filters until I change the air filters again is gonna be a long ass wait (almost two years)!

Don't bother. I pulled my charcoal filters and switched to K&N filters and didn't notice any difference whatsoever in sound or performance. I knew I wasn't going to get any noticeable performance. I was hoping for a bit more sound, but... nothing.
