What kind of delivery are you doing? I am doing PCD and gave Clint aggressive dates (he asked for whatever) so maybe that has something to do with it.

I certainly wasn't expecting to go into production that quickly. I just told my g/f yesterday I was going to stop thinking about color choices, etc because it wouldn't matter for a few weeks anyway... lol, so much for that.

What do you mean aggressive dates for PCD ? My understanding is PCD is not like ED in that you can't even schedule it until your car arrives stateside...

At least that's how it's work in past and for me at redelivery.

Well I do not have any confirmed or set dates. He asked for dates to send to them and one of them I sent was mid-July even though I didn't even think it was possible.

Yeah, there is a PCD section of the forum where the folks from PDC chime in and it's always been that thus reach out once your car arrives but things may valve changed as I did PCD in 2012

Mine is delivery stateside (no ED or PCD) and having it delivered home. I guess those with ED and PCD get priority? No big deal. I'm sure production is still on schedule for everyone.

ED yes in Europe, not so much on the redelivery. Not sure PCD gets any priority other than customer sold.

Not sure... just know the bmw rep told me production had begun that very day friday June 19 and would be completed July 1... lol im too lazy to count the weeks.
One question to those that are more experienced than me... If indeed the car if finished being built July 1 when could I expect it in my grubby hands?

I would say about 4 weeks or less. You are one of the first stops in eastern seaboard so that gains you a couple of days.

BMW assigns weeks not days for production. So if your week 27. That's June 29-July 5th. Which makes sense for the 10 M3s that went into production on the 19th.

Week 29 would be July 13-19th.

The weeks are read as yr/month/week. So 15/7/27 is week 27.

crap you're right. then both mikex25 and i are both week 27. i assume we have until the end of the june for production to begin on our vehicles then.

Glad we got that straightened out...and with a good result for all! I figured this was more important to you than what "number" you got from Clint.

I'm also week 27 for an M4. Should roll into production any day now.

OP (Manticor) can you confirm your production week? I assume it was like the rest of us...2015/07/27.

Is everyone else getting an M3 as well? Am I the only M4 with a week 27 build?
