Awe exhaust question(s)

Hey has anyone else smelled anything after the install? I know the metal has a warming/hot scent, but it's like I smell something else.
And has anyone heard or had a sound of slight vibration in 1st gear from a stop and roll or very lite acceleration? I've only had it for 24 hours to the second of this post.lol

Edit: non-res stock dp.

For the first month I had the hot fresh metal smell, but that was the only smell. And I never got any vibrations in any gear with mine. It's a resonated version by the way.

Edit: I meant to say a week with the smell not a month.

The smell is typically the coating burning off. It takes about 1-3 days to fully burn off. If it's any longer than that then I would have the exhaust checked

Mine was stinky for a few days, it's normal and has gone aweay.

Vibration - I had this as well, be aware that you have to make sure the AWE is adjusted just right or it will vibrate on the heat shields, since it's so much larger than stock. Take it back to the shop - they shouldn't vibrate.

Thanks, getting it checked out now. Hopefully they find the problem.

+1

A few heat cycles should get rid of anything.
