Interested to see military pricing on this. If all is reasonable I'll get low optioned M3 with DCT. Hopefully under $60k.

You would be surprised by how many people wanted sunroof over the carbon roof on the E92.

I don't get it either.

Carbon would have been great. Not digging the new colors at all, maybe if they released that Aurum Dust that was on the concept. High hopes for Austin Yellow.

You are on crack. There are no power or handing differences in the ZCP car. The dampening on the Sport EDC mode (a practically useless mode to start with) doesn't make much difference, and the tiny MDM tweaks probably can't even be noticed by a professional, especially if both cars have Euro MDM enabled. Plus it is dropped a conservative 10mm, which is less than even Dinan springs.

ZCP is basically if you like those cast wheels.

Really stupid question guys but hopefully someone can point out.

I don't really understand the difference between "extended" and "full" leather option.

Isn't full leather up to the dashboard? But then what's extended?

Well, shoot. Maybe that BIG pic I posted above is actually: 2PN - 18" Light Alloy Wheel V-Spoke Style? Not a 19".

I have sunroof in my e90 m3 and i go to the track 1-2 times a month, go to a canyon meet for a 2 hr carve once a month, made my own oem exhaust mod, my own oil changes, my own brake pad swaps, brake flush, swapped my own test pipes, and will install all my parts i buy myself.

You have a carbon fiber roof and drive around town and never get your hands dirty and go to the dealer for scheduled maintennce only and that makes you MORE of an enthusiast than me?

Where do you get these ideas?!

Just carlos being carlos i suppose.

I am genuinely surprised that the DCT was not made standard like it is on the M5 and M6 (and the auto is on every other BMW in the US now except Z4). I suppose that could change for standard orders but I doubt it. It seems the MT is alive and well for the M3. It's good news for MT buyers since your MSRP is a couple thousand cheaper than it would have otherwise been.

I was hoping for a Bang & Olufsen sound system. Also does full merino leather include the upper dash and doors?

the fact that 37.34% of all E9X M3's were MT may have been a factor in that decision.

508 – Park Distance Control
610 – Head-up Display

I don't want the retractable headlight washers, heated steering wheel or the Sat Radio, but heads up display and comfort access are a must.
Exactly what i was thinking. My m4 is no executive car.
HUD is addictively awesome...

BMW can charge the ~60% of buyers who opt for the DCT for the privilege, whereas it's an expected feature in the M5 and M6.

Both good points. But I think it is also so they can claim a lower weight for the car with the standard transmission.

Agreed and glad it is not going to be a "no cost" option. Hopefully it bodes well for a reasonable base price.

I recall spyshots showing off the wide rear fenders being singapore grey (or something close to SG). Hopefully mineral grey is somewhat close to SG.
