Those tips do look great. Def leaning toward them even more now.

Btw, are those Vorsteiner VFF 107s? If so, do you like them? I'd love to see more pics of them if you've got some. They're at the top of my short list for 19s with PS4S next spring, but they don't seem very popular around here so there aren't many pics of them on F80s. Normally I don't like to threadjack so I considered sending this as a PM but figured I'd ask about the wheels here in case others were also wondering about them. If you've got pics, you can PM me so we don't clutter up this tips thread.

the tips are from mode auto concepts in australia (i think mode carbon is s.th. different). link was provided by zomboss on page 1. took approx 3-4 weeks until i could pick them up at our customs office.
@lytsout: no, they are not the vorsteiner. you can find them here: https://wheelforce.shop/en/wf-wheels/cf-2-ff/

Definately improvement over stock. But why the inner barrell appears quite narrow compared to overall diameter of the tip?

because the pipe of the exhaust is that narrow. remember that the exhaust tips are just slipped on.

Been running the black chrome Mode Auto Concepts tips for 2 months now and sprayed the muffler with high temp engine paint in satin black to tie everything in, love it. Will post up pics when able.

No option for me on a 100k car...

Are there any good ones around where the tip wraps around the inside of the stock tip?
I prefer to run OEM that came with my F80. Looks like you can pick them up via IND using the link below.

I got a set from Alibaba for my rs7 and they did not fit. They were like 600 bucks too... apparently the piping where they connect was not the same. I am not sure if that is the case for the M3, would be curious to hear feedback. They also took 7 weeks to ship ha

Pics please!

And a couple questions:
1) did you tape off the body or use any other method to prevent overspray?
2) do you track the car? I wonder how well the paint would hold up under extreme temps. My 997S came with powder coated tips which had been on there for years prior to my purchase...but I burned off the coating the very first track weekend, haha!

Definitely cover your car! Ive had two M2Cs and I painted the ballsack on both. I used a cheap plastic drop cloth from home Depot big enough to cover the car. You will be shocked at the amount of paint that settled on the drop cloth when you're done. Also prep is key. Put your car on some race ramps or something and spend a little time scuffing the muffler and then wipe down really well with alcohol prior to painting.

BMS black ceramic. Bought it from a forum member. Definitely not light weight but very solid, fills up the area and looks very muscular. Appropriate for the M3, IMO!
