Well, my Cs options fell through because the swap a lease wasn't current and it was actually pending. Damn, that sucks. I'm so pissed.

I guess G80 is the only option left now

If you can afford the lease cant you afford to just go buy one of the many CS for sale around the country?

I guess, if you have to/want to stay with BMW. Otherwise there are a ton of other options.

G80 is about 200-300 lb heavier and 5 inches longer so F80 CS looks better weekend car for fun

There's not a ton of them around tho. Only 550 came to US but yea their out there. I vote CS as well, even if you have to buy one. I have one and the driving dynamics between it and F80 comp are pretty significant. Those German cowboys did something special to the CS. Also, I don't get the guys that say the G80 make F80 look dated. The M3 CS is a seriously bad azz looking car right out of the box.

Side note on pre-owned F80 CS. I see ads on the Internet for them and often when I click on it they are not a CS. CS modes are easily identifiable by the GTS hood alone.

Absolutely wait for the AWD and maybe they will fix the way that monstrosity looks exterior wise. So ugly!

You'll be waiting in a grave for that to happen sadly.

Sometimes its just fun to come into a post and see you and others just cut the hard cold truth about the G8x

But like others have said, its a no brainer to get a used CS over a new G8x. Ones hella sexy and is a romp to drive while the other is fugly and is a GT grocery getter

Yep, the CS, or even as you guys call em a "Civic" M3 is gorgeous, adheres to BMW design principles while modernizing it just a bit with sharp creases and modern features.

My CS arrives next week. It was an easy decision. G80 size, weight, slush box and looks killed it. In that order. As for all the journalists the last week or so doing the pump and dump on the G80......I don't believe them. Particularly their insistence the slush box is equal to or better than the DCT. Didn't take the bait. CS all day. Can't wait.

My dad owns a 2016 Z06 with 3LZ and Z07. He would make fun of me everyday for driving something so hideous. His car MSRP'ed for 111k and he got it for 94k.

Paying 90k for that horrible looking car is depreciation city. No thanks. Ill keep my M3CS for now.

I ended up getting a CS and have put 6000 miles on it in about 2.5 months, and that's weekends only pretty much. Love driving this thing. But I am wondering if the new one will be even better from all the reviews.

If by reviews you mean YouTube and IG then I would take those with a grain of salt. Be really happy you have the last and best version of the M3.

The G8x is probably only worth the switch if X Drive option is needed.

The CS all day and twice on Sunday. The G80 is a fat pig and looks like 10 pounds of shit in a 5 pound bag.

You would have to be shot in the head twice to get a G80 over F80CS if you actually care about sporty driving experience.

For all the gents favoring CS here, is that still the case or are you thinking of making the switch?

You can see when a post gets edited.... So based on your question, I doubt that they went back and decided they wanted the G80.

Get what makes you happy. Unless your happiness is based on other people's perception. Then you'll never be happy.

Buy the latest and greatest and flex all day if that floats your boat.

Can't see edits on mobile.

I meant updates since they last posted, not necessarily go back and edit.
