I love the look of the 6/4 pot gold CCB calipers. Since I don't plan on really tracking the car, I don't care about the carbon rotors. What are your guy's thoughts about just selling the carbon rotors to offset the price of the CCB option? Seems like a new set of rotors are going for about 14k. Even if you sell the pads and rotors at 10K, you can buy all new steel rotors and pads and come out even or even make a little extra. Now comes the concern of what steel rotors will be compatible with the calipers.

Agree that first to market with CCB fitment two-piece steel rotors will get quite a few takers. Or aftermarket carbon with lower cost. For my DD which will see only a little track use, I guessing I won't need rotors for a long time if ever. Since they don't fit the blue calipers my guess is there won't be many buyers if I took them off and sold'm...at least for a few years. I'm going to enjoy them, run them down and put steel on when it's time. The car will still be more desirable with the bigger gold clampers and rotors.

The best part of the calipers is hidden by the wheel, the negative relief on the back looks great.
These things are just huge, enormous even compared to the calipers on my RS. Just put 12mm Burger spacers on, great price and minimal graphics.

Otherwise, it's been a perfect DD, with teeth. I've never driven a BMW with brakes this good.
