Key FOB upgrade cut new emergency key?

Anyone that has done this where you able to get the new emergency key cut to match your old one? I didn’t even think about this before doing it so now my new FOB has a blank emergency key which is useless unless I can get cut to match my old one.

take your old emergency key and the new one to a local lock smith and they should be able to cut it. Should be easy for them.

Gates should be able to do this as well.

Having no luck with local locksmiths. Found 1 that said they can do with for $65 so we shall see.

The ace hardware near me does it for $35. I'm sure you can find it less than that. Heck, i'd even try home depot. They never do anything with a chip, but cutting the emergency key is pretty simple.

I have an Ace right by me so will check with them. I don't know why I thought it would be anything difficult but all but 1 locksmith said they couldn't do it.

EDIT: @aa2033 swapped my old FOB for the new and highly recommend him. Great service, great price and super easy to work with but had no idea this was him.
