TopJimmy Mosselman MSL65-80. I'm still on 285/30/20 Toyo R888R. Don't think I'll do much better than this until I get more tire.

Question for the guys who remember being stock turbo full e85, How many revisions did paul usually go through in order to hit 6.9-7.1 territory consistently. Right now we are on revision 4 and counting, trying to figure out roughly how many more he usually does to get it where he wants to go. Does he usually have it fully dialed (considering no mechanical issues) around the 8-10th revision or is it closer to 12-15?

Good to know I'm almost there haha and He does, Just finished logging revision 4.

7.43 60-130

17.5 Degrees of timing and only 22.5lbs of boost

I think 2-3 more and we will be right there, I'm looking for 7.0-7.1. Not looking for records

Getting close to the end, I'm telling paul to wrap up the tune at 7.2x instead of 7.0-7.1x because every revision has been 1,000-1,500 DA at 68-77 degrees. I know that if I can run a 7.2x in that DA and temp, The car will run my goal in good weather no doubt.

Im not sure how paul tunes or what he does different because the past 2 revisions, Boost hasnt been touched and niether has timing but im going faster each time. I'm curious if anyone knows his secret tables he messes with.

Currently running 7.32 60-130

How do the lambdas/afr graphs compare between revisions? I'd assume he's adjusting the fuel side. Also are you a DCT car?

Yes DCT car, They look rather similiar still in 13.48-13.8 realm. I wonder if hes adjusting vanos tables. He just sent me a final revision, Should be 7.1x I'll see what that looks like when i log

I went ahead and bought about $60 worth of gold heat tape and wrapped all the pipping and my intercooler aswell as buying water wetter additive . That should greatly affect temps

I read on NA engines, for every 1,000ft, the engine loses 3.5% of its HP. The effect is lower on turbo engines and if you run on E blend fuels, it lowers the effects further as Ethanol / methanol are oxygenated fuels. Compensating for the low air density.

Appreciate that, gonna head out and see how I do, I have also gold heat taped all metal components in the boost system, I'll let everyone know the difference it makes in IAT vs without.

Side note does 4th gear max out in DCT at 132-136? Wouldnt it make more sense to rev out 4th instead of shift into 5th at 6200

All my runs are to redline and one shift. I’m not on stock turbos though.

Yeah makes sense it can hold power and you dont have to shift into 5th, stock turbos fall off after 6,300

I finally bit the bullet and am putting together a rear set of wheels with some 315 888r's. Hopefully I can drop a couple tenths and get closer to the 5's. That's kind of my ultimate goal with the car but the damn 6mt that I love so much is killing me lol.

What are your current modifications and estimated HP?

I'm just curious because I got the flex fuel tune from Paul, with full bolt ons (he estimated 580rwhp on full e85).

Since the tune I upgraded to r888rs tires, and I don't have any spin in 3rd anymore.

Here's a first attempt of my F82 on LM700 turbos, MHD custom and XHP stage 3. Fuel is Ultimate 102. Exhaust, downpipes, cat are completely stock and definitely the bottleneck for better performance. Tank was close to full and 2 passengers in the car.

I have Downpipe and Drop in filters. Im about 585. 580-600 puts you 7.0-7.2 if shifting at 6,300, starting at 50 and you hook with full weight. Mine was uphill so its corrected to about 7.07.

Do you find that the speed increase is less manageable for traction? Like a harder hit? I'm wondering if I should go back to Paul and ask for whatever sauce you're getting but I want to drive it on the track with some control.
