Carpet rejuvenation
Noticing that I’m starting to get some carpet “wear” … kind of dull spots where my feet most commonly are. I’ve had the new oem black carpet for less than a year so I don’t think it would be normal to have to replace it. What’s the best remedy to getting rid of the spots where my heels typically rest? Thanks.

Why did you start a repeat thread?
Vacuum them, if you’re not happy buy a new set. Dunno what you’re looking for here, sounds like you’re digging your heel in or something. |

Why not just find a good detailer, have them do a good solid clean of everything. From there just regular maintenance like vacuum and wiping things down. Mine was cleaned in May and only thing I've done so far is wipe dust away

This. Sounds like you just never clean them lol I never have to do anything other than vacuum. Stop dragging your feet in dirty places?

I have vacuumed them, but I think they need a detailing. I’ll probably just vacuum and wait until next summer when I have the detailers apply leatherique to the leather. I rest my heal on the carpet with the toes on the gas pedal. I’m not used to putting my entire foot on the gas pedal if that’s what a lot to of others do. Fwiw, thanks for the feedback. |

I use the same chemicals as i use when i wash my car in the winter, first vacuum clean, then pressure wash them and let them dry. Then vacuum clean again. On mu M performance mats i use ceramic detailing spray when they have dried.
