Autotechnik rear carbon fiber bumper trim by mistake. Yay or Nay?

Alright folks, I need your honest opinions on this.

I ordered a set of front upper carbon fiber trim but Autotechnik sent me these things by mistake, at first I didn't even know which car they belonged to until I realized these are for the rear of our F8x.

Now I had no idea these even existed, being bored while waiting for my correct order, I decided to do a test fit...now I don't know what to think. I never even considered these but I'm kinda torn, I don't hate them... Please persuade me to keep them or return them back immediately...lol.

Amazing? Nice? Tacky? Rice? LOL, all opinions welcomed. I haven't installed them, just a test fit but the quality is amazing, dry carbon and fit looks to be 10/10.

They don’t look half bad. I’ve always liked the extension pieces that go under the bumper and appears to connect to the rear diffuser but those work.

Keep em! Unless you plan on running a 3 pc diffuser then get rid of em!

At some point, there is such a thing as too much carbon. When I started modding, I was really interested in adding more carbon fiber pieces. As the car has slowly aged throughout the years (i'm in my 5th year of ownership), I've found that carbon pieces, if not tastefully done, makes the car cheap.

I used to have CF mirrors, and then went back to stock. Had a Vorsteiner diffuser but that seemed too much, so switched it to a less aggressive diffuser, and now reverting back to a more stock look with just a front lip and taking off my CF splitters. I feel in 5 more years, "classic" will be the look you'll want. The extra CF bits will simply make it look cheap. Look at the e46 and e92 M3. In my opinion, the most attractive cars are the one that look OEM+, without the crazy rims and body kits. Just my two cents. Your car looks amazing, get rid of them!

I love mine I think they add a nice little flair. But I did do a painted spoiler to combat all the CF pieces being "tacked" on.
