Alpine White M3 // BBS - Akrapovic - KW // TAG Motorsports

After countless M4’s and months of waiting, we finally got our hands on an M3. The four door variant of the F8X platform arrived earlier this week and we didn't waist any time.

This beauty was slated to get a number of mods starting with the Akrapovic Exhaust. Having installed a bevy of these titanium masterpieces we knew how easily they went in and how precise they fit. Opting for the carbon tips but no carbon diffuser, the look stays incredibly clean seeing carbon against the shiny alpine white.

Starting with the stock exhaust

The Akrapovic Evolution Exhaust System

Next came the suspension. Again we went with the crowd favorite KW Height Adjustable Springs. We have installed these on countless cars and know the nuances that make installs less challenging and adjustments a breeze. The customer wanted the car to sit similar to our shops M4 “Black Betty” so we knew exactly what needed to be done.

We added the wheels, the BBS FI’s we had on our M4 for SEMA. The customer wanted those exact wheels, so we took them off our car. After a little tire swap we put the wheels on for fitting. We then put the car on the ground to see how the suspension looked. We made a few small tweaks to dial it in but it wasn’t long until it was sitting perfect.

The customer wanted some paint work done so we removed the grill surrounds and the side markers. The customer wanted gloss black, a natural choice of the alpine white. We sprayed them in house and installed back on the car.

The final result is a subtle but spectacular M3. The Titanium finish BBS wheels give a nice contrast along with the carbon exhaust tips and gloss black accents. We couldn’t be happier with how this turned out and can’t wait to get our hands on another. Enjoy!

List of Modifications
-20” BBS FI in Titanium Finish
-255/30/20 & 285/30/20 Michelin Pilot Supersport Tires
-KW Height Adjustable Spring Set
-Akrapovic Exhaust System with Link Pipe & Carbon Tips
-TAG Motorsports Cosmetic Package

Faaaaaaak that's hot

Grubbs are you using spacers in the rears? I can see you have used a spacer on the front.

The rears look very aggressive.. More so than on the M4, or is that just the M3 fitment?

Spacers up front. None in the rear. The M3 fitment is aggressive.

Is BBS going to release M4 specific LM fitment in 20s by chance?

Eventually - I would look out for Q1. There have been a few people getting some LM's and Re-lipping them!
