You are probably correct. I bet it Looks better painted than not painted, but it definitely changes the way the air intakes look in a bad way in my opinion.

http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....e-class-fd.jpg

Edit. I found out why. this is such an ungainly look at the front for me. It makes the front air intakes look like the E class.. which i find to be quite fugly.
I actually dislike the entire M-perf front spoiler/splitters for the M3/M4. It looks terrible when they are on anything other than a black car. There is an alpine white M4 in my neighborhood with every single M-perf part. When I see his car coming at me on the road, it looks like he took a saw-saz and cut half his bumper off. At least when the lip is painted it connects the two sides of the bumper, but it still doesn't look ideal.

Looks awesome. If Bmw got wise, they would make the f80/2 headlights black like that from the factory! So mean looking

Nice cars, not a fan of the front bumpers though. I think blacking out the sides makes it look like there's one huge intake in the center, like a vacuum cleaner or something.

Funny, if I didn't know better, I would have guessed these were wide body vehicles. The quality of the photographs highlighted the curves and overall aggressive stance of the F80 to perfection!
Very well done, and thank you kindly for sharing!

thanks Chris. Yes the headlights wer done by ONEighty. Gloss black with matte black accents. they turned out insane!

EDIT. Just noticed the AY has its front slits, ?, painted black. Perhaps, thats what makes it look so similar to the Mercedes.
Camber?? there is no camber work done to that car. you might be noticing the concavity of the wheels. the fitment on those wheels fit very close to the way mine fit. but my wheels are a flat face.

to answer the question about the slits, it is vinyl wrapped.

Thanks for all of the kind words on the photography and cars. It was worth it getting soaked for these.

Less restrictive exhaust flow, more sound and power.

His headlights were done by the guys at ONEighty. They came out awesome and gives the car so much more of an aggressive appearance.
