Execution looks to be good, but I am just not a fan of any part of that kit. IMHO it totally detracts from the car.

That vorsteiner kit doesn't look as bad in black but still those rear quarter panels do not look right at all. I would take that matte stripe off the middle of the car too. Other than that well done.

Go big or go home, right. If your going to do a wide body might as well make it wide. I appreciate the creative drive and execution. Bit of a throwback in the rear flare like the vintage CSL minus the air scoops.

Keep pushing the bounds while we all sit and judge, keep the haters out of the design room, they will never be happy.

Ok, from now on, no one is allowed to call their f80/f82 a beast. This ... THIS is clearly a BEAST!!!

Where to begin with this postÂ…Â…. Well, we can start by introducing Black Betty. We all know her, she has been through a few different transformations, including 14 sets of wheels, 4 different suspension setups, 5 different exhaust system variations, 3 different software upgrade programs, 3 different front lips, 2 different diffusers, 3 different color schemeÂ’s and now, the final setup - a complete widebody transformation.

The project began a few months ago, when our friends at Vorsteiner called and asked us if we wanted to be the Car #3, we jumped at the opportunity, and the project began shortly after that with our friends at Platinum Motorsports finishing up the final paint work. You can watch the entire process in this thread HERE.

Overall, the fit/finish/final product is absolutely astonishing. Yes the car is Wide, Yes the car is a bit more aggressive than what a lot would desire, however at the end of the day, we here at TAG Motorsports feel as if it is our duty to show you what the absolute limits are of modding your car!

Complete Modification List:

-Vorsteiner GTRS4 Complete Wide Body Aerodynamic Package
-HRE RS100 20x10.5 and 20x13.5 Wheels finished in Brushed Titanium Centers and Polished Dark Clear Lips
-265/30/20 and 345/25/20 Pirelli PZero Tires
-Bilstein Clubsport Coil Over Suspension
-Akrapovic Evolution Line Titanium Exhaust System with Carbon Tips
-ESS ECU Upgrade (FLASH)
-AWE Tuning Carbon Intake
-Vorsteiner Rear Deck-Lid Spoiler (in Satin Carbon Finish)
-BMW Performance Carbon Mirror Caps (in Satin Carbon Finish)
-BMW Performance Steering Wheel (with Satin Carbon Trim)
-BMW Performance Shifter (with Satin Carbon Finish)
-BMW Performance E-Brake (with Satin Carbon Finish)
-BMW OEM Carbon Interior Trim (in Satin Carbon Finish)
-ARWON Interior Gauge
-TAG Body Color Front Grills
-TAG Side Vents in Body Color
-TAG Front + Rear Seatbacks in Porsche Mint Green
-TAG Front + Rear Seatbelts in Porsche Mint Green
-TAG Calipers in Porsche Mint Green
-TAG Shift Surround in Porsche Mint Green
-TAG Steering Wheel Trim in Porsche Mint Green
-TAG HRE Inner Wheel Lips in Porsche Mint Green
-Complete Vehicle XPEL Clear Bra
-Matte XPEL Clear Bra on Carbon Roof

Let us know your thoughts! We have been very happy with the final product, We were so pleased with it, we drove the car 2700 miles right when the vehicle was completed from San Diego to Miami on the goldRush Rally, and the car performed flawlessly. We look forward to showcasing the car at various events through out Southern California - hope you guys get a chance to catch a glimpse of her in person!

If you have any questions at all regarding any of the parts you see, please feel free to contact us by clicking HERE

So without Further Delay: Black Betty - The TAG Motorsports + Vorsteiner GTRS4 Widebody 2015 BMW M4

It is obvious there was a lot of thought, planning and hard work that went into this car. However, this is terrible.

The aesthetics are completely off base for this car.

Trying to match boxed fender flares from a 1988 E30 M3 on to a current F82 M4 has zero hope of ever matching or actually flowing with the swag line, graphics (panel lines), surface tension and texture of the current F82 M4.

This one was built by Elite Custom Performance back in December 2014. I believe this was car number 2:

This is definitely not my cup of tea, it's too out there, not subtle or understated.
However I get the appeal for some and to each their own.

The one area that is not subjective however is performance, I can't imagine that 265 fronts and 345 rears is a good setup for neutral handling. I would guess this setup is causing massive under steer. So then what's the point of the massive rear wheels and wide body? Is it purely for appearances and show?

Looks awesome! But I wouldn't have gone with HRE's. They look great, but I've heard some quality issue horror stories.

Not feeling those fender flares at all! Just doesn't flow with the lines of the car. Looks out of place.
