Planning for PCD
For those that did the Performance Center Delivery, I was curious to hear how you handled airfare? I got my tentative date today for July 14th but was informed to not buy plane tickets until 3 weeks prior. I was just wondering people buy insurance with the risk that something could go wrong such as weather or some unforeseen delays or if there is anything I should be considering as I go through this process? I have searched the forum but I don't seem to be finding too much info on this process so if I missed it please point me in the right direction.
Thanks! |

I would wait until it is three weeks. The fares are not to bad but you will likely have a connection to get to GSP or Greer Spartanburg. I did not buy travel insurance as the cars are there quite a bit before you will be there. I don't know if weather could be a variable. Very well timed.
Did my first PCD last week and I highly recommend it. |

Sounds good. I just found out today my car has started production which is 10 days sooner than originally planned so I'll wait 3 weeks prior and deal with any adjustments in airfare. Thanks for the info.
