Millway street version camber plates fitted

yes i ran it with MPHAS and no problem. now i use ohlins R&T isntead. and also work fine with millway

The OEM setup uses a hard rubber bushing and the axis of the bushing to the damper shaft is 90 degrees so that the shaft travel is perpendicular to the shock body. When you adjust camber you are changing that angle away from 90 degrees, and that's why the majority of camber plates have a spherical bearing, this allows the damper shaft not to bind as it goes through the stroke. The downside of the spherical is that they're not really designed to take that sort of load in the smaller bearing sizes and packaging limitations of a camber plate limit bearing sizes -- so they make noise as they start to wear. These street plates attempt to replicate the comfort of a hard rubber bushing but seem to ignore the binding that comes from adjustment in camber. I'm not personally sure what sort of quantifiable reduction in shock life this would cause but it probably isn't zero.

I see what you mean. right now i have millway street with ohlins which uses stock hard rubber bushing vs. vorshlag or GC metal bearing directly mounted to ohlins. so far the ride is very very compliant, i drive the car to the track (500+ miles) and back and it's good, but i do not see these things last forever as i track but polyurethane and rubber bushing should help . i have seen so many GC bearings fail at the track even after a few days

I went with vorshlag because they claimed they use bigger sphericals over their competitors so longer life. We'll see if that holds true...

I'd def. do Vorshlag with Ohlins, they go well together. that's my plan on F87 I plan to get next. then leave the millway street with MPHAS on M3, etc.

Finally got these on today. Love them. Quiet and smooth. The road noise from my front AD08R's has been amplified significantly from 0-40mph. I'll be switching those out soon though. These camber plates made my already sharp and responsive setup more sharp and direct. Excited to get my left/right camber dialed in properly and setup with new front tires/wheel widths all around.
These were added to my MPHAS setup and I'll add some pics on another thread.

Is this camber plate only sold in UK/Europe? I can't find a US based store that sells them. Looking to get the Millway street version.

Have to order direct from Sweden. That said, they ship VERY fast to the US.

I am considering getting rid of my GC camber plates and switching to these as the creaking/grinding noise of GC is getting to me.

The most camber I want to run is -2.6, I assume these will do that correct? Are these relatively easy to adjust once installed as in can I trust my alignment shop to intuitively figure out how to adjust these to desired camber? The post above regarding hex bolts not being accessible beyond -2,4 is concerning a bit.

They should be pretty straight forward to adjust. I would also be concerned about access to the fasteners beyond a certain point. I'm only planning to go to -2.0 so I'll post some pics once I get it dialed in. Scheduled to get it done this Thursday. So far I am super happy with the setup. Cleaned up the loose feeling I had running the Advan Apex's up front and seems to have smoothed out the bumps. I can only guess the EDC up front is able to work better now with a stiffer mount up top.

Oh and it's quiet like OEM so that's a big PLUS!

I've had the Millway street plates installed (along with MP HAS) since April and haven't had a single issue with them. Zero NVH so far. Very happy with them.

Still very pleased with them. Have handled and held up to all my rough terrain driving just fine.

Did you end up having to use thread lock with the studs? They seem pretty snug, but the studs don't fully seat on mine without protruding.

My plates don't have the studs (they're the older version). The bolts have been just fine without thread locker.

Noone talks about Caster. Why? I see a lot of benefits in more Caster than camber, especially on street cars.
