LCA worn out?

Was swapping my car back to street mode today.
Noticed that my front LCA have a good bit of play and seem worn out. Wanted to double check with you all to make sure i am correct in my assessment? Time to replace?

I just bought a new set of OEM LCA, front monoball control arms, and a SPL rear toe kit.
Looking forward to a little more feedback and stability in the suspension!

Car has 78k and 21 track days. Not too shabby for stock bushings.

I think hard to say if that's worn -- motion in that direction (twisting) I think is normal. If you hold the arm tight and push in/outwards (along the axis of the arm), do you feel play? Or, with wheel on, do you get play when trying to rock the wheel with your hands at 6 and 12, or maybe 9 and 3? Play in those scenarios I think more convincing that it's shot

I will have to check next time I have the car up. Overall it felt a little too easy to move around by hand, with my limited experience with worn out bushings.(at least in the direction shown)

Was already set on getting the other arms before i noticed this. Can always just send the LCA back. I guess ill see how the new ones compare in feel before install.

I had torn through a set of NT01 in three events recently. Which i usually get about 4-5. Figured it was cause of my pace.
Then I was out at sonoma on sunday and during session 3 I thought I heard some sound/feeling coming from the front left. Pulled off mid session and assessed wheel but didnt see anything obvious and went back out for the rest of the day. Was still going full out and never heard it again.
Part of me thinks these two things are intertwined and a result of the arm.

Just went out and checked the left front again.
You appear to be right. There is almost no movement in the actual direction the load is taken. Even poked it with a pry bar.

Guess I can save ~500 bucks for now. Not sure it is worth pre-emptively changing them... Thanks for the sanity check.
If anyone else has an opinion I'm still all ears.

Sounds like you got it sorted out - direction checked should be the axial direction (push-pull along the long axis of the arm)

yep, was just me being over cautious. Everything was fine.
Have since updated to monoball and rear toe arms. They make a big difference.

It’s better to be cautious especially on something like a front LCA!
