MPE with OPF

If fitting an M Performance Exhaust (MPE) on an OPF equipped car, does it keep the OPF as it’s before the parts you remove? Or does the MPE replace the OPF?
And if it removes the OPF…
Can you cut the MPE down a bit, to ensure you keep the OPF?

The MPE installs behind all OPF or catalytic converters/particulate filters in the OEM midpipe. Not sure where the OPF would be in an EU car, but this is a US spec setup.

Here is a picture of the MPE attached to the factory midpipe next to the Active Autowerke equal length resonated midpipe:
