Strasse Wheels (warning)
Im on this forum cause I have a M3, but this is a transaction I made for another car. Back in March I contacted Robert Carrillo with Strasse Wheels to order some wheels for my C7 Z06. I was quoted 6k with a 3k deposit to get started with a 6 to 8 weeks manufacture time. I paid the deposit and waited. After 8 weeks I reached out to Robert to see how it was coming along, he responded with they are getting finished up and will be ready late next week, but after another month and nothing I reached out again, and as you can guess my messages started being ignored. He eventually responded with Ill get back to you tomorrow, but never did. I kept a little patience but after a week I reached out again. Now he started acting like I was bothering him, and after a little back and forth, telling him I understand if things take longer than expected I just want honest answers and please stop ignoring me he stated that they will be ready to ship next week (once again). Another month goes by and nothing so that was obviously another lie. So this time I called him, it went straight to voicemail and I was blocked. 6 months later he still has my deposit and has blocked me from contacting him apparently just deciding to keep my deposit cause he didn't like that i wanted to know the status of my investment. The company does have good reviews, but are literally the exact opposite of my experience so it makes me wonder if they are even real. This is a caution, about a company with horrible customer service, they will take your money, lie, and eventually just plain outright steal the thousands you gave in good faith

Hopefully you paid the deposit with Paypal because that will give you 180 days to dispute the charges and you are reaching that deadline if it has not already passed.
