I need advice from you Gurus to finish up this super-tight fitment. We've got custom 17x11" Signatures to fit over the stock rear 2-piston "blue brakes". Signature milled them to fit, and now I need to maximize my clearances:

Problem 1 (possibly solved) Rear Toe Link
- The bushing eyelet of the OEM wishbone is too large, see pictures 1-2-3 below.
+ I've ordered SPL links which have smaller spherical ends.
+ I filed down the link mounts of the wheel carrier by hand so they're smooth and have a little more clearance.

Problem 2 (need input) Brake Pad Weights
- My OEM brake pad weights stick out a tiny bit and I need that added clearance. Picture 4 shows a shirt wrapped around the brakes, and the inner wheel barrel making contact.
- Don't recommend a Small Brake Kit yet…Signature said they're custom to fit over blues.
? Is it okay to remove the brake pad weights? I plan to Dremel off the rivet head and tap the weight off with a drift pin. Any downsides?

I am working with Jimmy at Signature on these issues, but also want your input if you have experience.

Problem 2 is easy
Those counterweights on the pads can be removed easily or buy sport/track pads which don't have them.

Them may rattle a little more than usual but nothing crazy.
