Rear Damper Mount Orientation

Those of you with aftermarket rear coils/dampers - I personally have MCS-1 ways. How did you mount your rear dampers? Shaft pointing up or down into the lower control arm, and why? I know it can't be done either way, but I was wondering if there were some opinions on anything specific I'm not considering.

You need to mount it right side up or it will hit the sway

MCS 2WNR on my M2C. H&R sway.

Mine is not inverted and makes use of spacers for sway clearance, although my ride height isn't too low.

This is what I did, the body doesn't sit to close to the sway bar and I noticed it is how BMW did it from the factory - also keeps the adjustment knobs clear of road debris damage.

Ohlins ttx, non inverted. Nothing has touched on my car either regarding the sway bar or spring to the body.

2.25", 800lb, 6" (7" maybe, I'd have to double check) with helpers.

That rear end is as bling as it gets as far as suspension upgrades go

Almost. I've got something else in the works to hopefully help get a bit more traction and better tire wear.
