Used M4 values falling
It would appear that resale values are really falling off right now. I'm seeing 2015 M4's on the market for right around $40K right now. That surprised me. The mileage numbers aren't that high either, right around 30,000 or so. Hmm

riiiiiiiiight.
Just wait until the F80 goes out of production and the new ///M3 comes out before the new ///M4 a couple years later. The cliff is coming quickly for the F80. What I can't wait to see are M2 values once the S55 models come out! |

I actually specifically looked at the M4 because the prices were dropping to a more affordable level. I bought my CPOd 2015 YMB F83 with 8k miles a couple of months ago for ~$56k and it originally stickered for $91k. I think I did ok on price but there were definitely cheaper options out there, just not with all the options I wanted...

I am not interested in a used vehicle. I always buy new instead of leasing, and so far, the operating costs have been lower for my situation with this strategy.

How so? MY 2015 leases are getting returned now, but there will be a constant flow of MY 2016 that follows and so on. I'd only expect an increase in used M3/M4's going forward as more vehicles are returned at the end of their leases and some of the MY 2015s are further recycled by second owners.

Yes
No Accidents Reported On Carfax only a Rear Damage to the Rear Bumper. Dealer told me that anything over $750 worth of damages they report it to Carfax. I got it fixed for $500 for a full re spray of the rear bumper. Good as new.
