Need advice on ‘18 M3 purchase

Hey Everyone,

TIA on any advice. Looking at two options, both 2018

M3, Mineral White Ext, Black Int, ZCP, DCT, ZDA, Full Leather, Executive, Moonroof, Carplay, Wireless Charging, Sunshade 15k Miles - MSRP $83,595 - Sale Price: $57,352, Plus a decent amount of fees, $899 paperwork BS(won't budge, its crazy) + tax

M3, Black Sapphire Ext, Black Int, ZCP, DCT, ZDA, Extended Leather, Executive 17k Miles - MSRP $80,995 - Sale Price: $57,635.50 + tax

Buying both out of state and shipping, both have clean carfax, lease returns.

What do you guys think, good deal, good options, one better then the other?

Thanks!

Do you prefer carbon roof or the sunroof? That's a deal breaker for many people.

Personally the 2 biggest option was the LED adaptive headlights and the full leather interior. Aesthetically those 2 options alone completely changes the car’s both look and feel. When i was looking i sat in a few cars with the extended leather and the interior feels a bit lacking and too similar to the f30’s.

Id go with the first one unless moonroof is a deal breaker considering they are priced about the same

How frequently do you enjoy cleaning your car? Had a black S4, couldn't keep the damn thing clean in Chicago weather, so I traded it in on my Mineral White M3. Best decision ever. It's no silver, but pretty darn close. The metallic flakes hide a lot and I'm no longer angry driving my dirty car all the time .

I didn't know BMW did 12 month leases? That is quite the 1 year depreciation. Smart to buy used. I'd go with the white car.

Carbon Roof VS Moonroof isn't a deal breaker?

No, I have a moon roof and use it all the time and I haven't tipped over yet!

I'm beating these dudes up pretty hard. Its probably 3ish under without some aggressive beating. It's been a 4 day battle so far. But, I think landing on the white one with another $400 off.

IMO it would be the mineral white. Much prefer white over BSM and the options are there.

I would go with full leather. After all you are looking at interior all the time while you are driving it.

I think sunroof is a must. Except on a white M3. The CF roof is an amazing contrast. So in this rare case, I vote black.

Full leather is so much better than extended.

Go with the first one.

Also, why's the 2nd one more expensive when it has more miles and lower MSRP?

The white one is a but more spendy out the door due to fees. Black looks like more, but is a smidge less. They are basically the same price.

Seems like these are in the good deal price range. So bound to that, but what do you mean?

BSM is very hard to keep clean! You will get annoyed every time you see dust and dirt on the car. And it builds up fast!
I have a BSM with sunroof and it blends in really well. I wash the car every 2 weeks. The very next day, it gets dirty.

Hard choice for you since the MW has the sunroof which takes away from the ideal color combo of having a white car with a black carbon roof

If you don't mind keeping the car a bit dirty, go with BSM for the carbon roof. Tint the windows 20% and the car will look fantastic!

you have no idea how much full leather makes a difference. i have it and still think the interior is not up to par. so imagine with that grainy plastic shit... also u can just wrap the roof black
