Finally Found the F82

Hey everyone new to the forum, just purchased my first F82 M4 Comp Pack. I have been going back and forth and finally pulled the trigger. So far its just stock with window tints. Any mod recommendations to start with?

nice car congrats! I'd suggest a CF spoiler as that really complements the rear end and software tuning. I'd suggest the gts steering/differential/mdm/dct, CS edc dampers +/- an engine tune depending on how comfortable you are with the current power

When I bought my F82, this is what I did...

1) I wrapped my entire car in PPF ( I don't like stone chips). Some people had peeling issues with the CF roof so the PPF film on the roof should help protect it.

2) You live in LA with me and with our low profile tires and really bad roads, very likely you'll get a tire bubble. For me, I trust my wheels with Americas Tire, so I buy their road hazard warranty. Saved me multiple times. I would only recommend you do this, if you trust Americas Tire with your wheels. Some people on here are very against it.

3) Window tint, which you've already done. It gets toasty here in LA in the summer.

4) Radar Detector with Laser Detection as a Just In Case (Not a guarantee)

5) Dash Cam (Front and Rear if you can afford both)

6) Bimmercode for all that coding goodness!

I had Alex@Alpine do it but you can use bimmercode or I believe it's called THOR flashing but you need an iOS for that

Congrats nice looking car,

I agree the rear CF spoiler,, will look great on the white, but hell just drive it.. it’s a great car from the engineers that built it. There’s a whole thread on here about modifying suspension, engine coding, my opinion is if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

But I’m old school.. I know I’ll catch hell for that one, but don’t care.

Enjoy it.

I’d suggest drive it for a while before engine performance mods, ie see what you have before you add to an already capable performer. As for cosmetics, your tastes and budget are your guides. Enjoy.

Congrats on the car, enjoy it!

IND makes a great "starter" kit for appearance mods. Then they have a lot more in-depth (read more expensive) mods as well for looks. I have some of their stuff, and it has been good quality.

ModeCarbon makes a lot of carbon parts for our cars. I have their high-kick spoiler and love it. It's still not too obnoxious, but more aggressive than the Msport version.

For tunes, there are a number of them out there. Reading the tuning forum for a while may help you make a decision. or maybe just confuse the issue more, as there a lot of different paths you can take.

Good luck!!

Congrats on the new pick up! As far as tuning goes I definitely recommending going with DME nothing beats the performance and reliability you get from this product!

Enjoy her!

Nice color combo with the SO interior. My last two BMWs were white but I had to get something different this time...I just picked up an M4 competition in AY. Enjoy!!
