I can't find the YouTube video any more, but a British professor demonstrated this by holding a gallon water jug on top of his head and holding the car remote against the jug of water. He also demonstrated that you can get the best range by holding your car remote against your temple, not against your chin, not with your mouth open, but against your temple. That's what I do. Also doesn't look as stupid as some of the other recommendations mentioned here.

Been there for awhile. My wife's 2011 335is Coupe had it. I used it with a 12V dual USB adapter to charge my cell phone when I was a passenger in her car and now do the same thing in her M3.

In my M4 I use it the same way to charge my phone and keep the phone in one of the cup holders. Less messy than using the 12V port in the console.

It's there. Feel up under the dash on the passenger side, closer to the center console than the door. You'll feel a hole that is a 12-volt outlet without a cover of any sort. I have a ProClip console mount and run the power cord from the phone cradle there. The cord is totally hidden from view.

I learned that I was a dumb ass for trading my 14 F80 12 months ago. I have learned that parting with it left a hole that the supercharged V8 Range Rover Sport couldn't begin to fill. I learned that being so dumb and having to find love again with a new M3 ZCP after less than 12 months of Range Rover ownership costs a lot of money.

Learned that after 3+ years of ownership there still isn't another car manufacturer that can provide me a better 4-5 seating 2 door / semi-luxury / 400hp+ / sub 3700lb grocery getter that comes in manual transmission, for the money.

Well there is the 991.2 7MT Carrera S I'd take over my F82 car for car. But that car isn't exactly a "grocery getter" platform like the 3 / 4 series. It also cost significantly more than my civic m4 (71k OTD).

Screw that though, GT3 or bust.

Learned that after driving my M4 for only 2 1/2 weeks now, it is better in every way, shape and form than my E92 M3. I’ll take this magnificent straight-6, no-lag turbos over that low-torque, high-revving, gas sucking, NA V8 any day. M4 = ultimate DD. #noregrets

I learned that when you have msr front intakes and add a csf intercooler everything comes to life. intakes open right up and a lot more torque! great combo.

next turbos down pipes and mid pipe along with tune and done.
