The car is way too low right now, I just smashed the new suspension on and figured what the heck, give it a go. But if you played around with the offset by swapping spacers an 18 by 11 square set up with a 295/30 is a no brainer!
I've got 18x11 ET44, which are Apex's EC-7 for the rear of the F8x. Hoping to be able to rotate front/rear. In theory I'll end up with a 19mm offset, which should clear the coilover with little bit of space, and should clear the fender. I've seen a few cars run 18x11 squared, so I'm pretty confident it'll work under cornering compression.

Curious how those Ohlins work out for you vs the clubsports.

edit: Which brakelines are you using for your AP Racing calipers?

In my very non expert opinion a 19mm offset my be slightly too aggressive. But again, it depends on ride height and camber you have dialed in. The good thing is if a 25mm spacer does end up being too much it's really easy to swap to a slightly smaller one and you'll be able to dial it in.

I'll let you know how the ohlins set up works! There wasn't anything wrong with the stock 3 ways. It was just sort of an impulse decision and I think they're gonna take some fiddling to make them work but I hope they make a change for the better in the long run.

They're spiegler lines.

Clip from the car on the dyno on Saturday. The GoPro microphone just doesn't do the exhaust justice. Going back once the water injection is working.

Sounds killer. Loud as hell stock.

Put a gopro on my interior windshield for last track day, captured nearly everything even with windows down.

Helmet on you can hear every prod of the throttle. and the "brrr-aaack!" as you move from on to off throttle is amazing.

Do you have 6 pt? That adds to because the rumble comes through the cage and down the shoulder harnesses.

Glad to hear you're getting the water system sorted.

Will be installing my seats and harnesses in July or August. The car is fast enough that I'm losing time sliding in the seat.

Got out to the track a week ago, it had been ~7-8 months so there was some serious rust removal needed. Looped the car twice in 2.5 hours, both times I just wasn't paying enough attention and outright failed to even try to counter-steer and throttle out. Luckily I was taking all of the high-speed corners pretty casual, so both spins were medium-speed 50mph corners.

The NT01s have an unknown number of heat cycles on them, I primarily wanted the wheels, but I'm not very impressed with their grip. The AP Racing brakes were stellar, I'm overbraking the two high-speed corners by 10+mph with zero fade even after a 45 minute. I was struggling with front-end grip on the NT01s, I missed several braking zones like in this short clip going into T1 at High Plains Raceway. Admittedly I was struggling with tire pressures all day, finally got it sorted in the 4th session, but the front-end grip still felt down compared to the Sport Cup 2.

This is the only clean session I have a recording of, the GoPro overheated after the third session. It is a shame as my fifth session I was mostly alone for 45 minutes and really got to practice a few corners. Drove the car until it fuel starved on a medium-speed right hander.

Once again the seat in the car is a major failure. I've got a pretty narrow waist and I'm just sliding around. My throttle/brake/wheel inputs were all over the place under threshold braking or really pushing corners. I like to two-foot the pedal box on DCTs, but I really need a 6-point to not necessitate using the wheel as a stability device.

Yup, and the outer bypass tips are definitely seeing some heat. The inner muffled tips are still just shiny titanium.

Can't help noticing your seating position, you're sitting way too far from the steering wheel, which hurts your ability to recover from spins. When properly seated, your elbows should be at a right angle. Another way of checking for proper seating distance is by pressing both shoulder blades in the seatback, you should be able to rest both wrists on the top of the steering wheel. With this proper seating position, you'll be able to do over 180deg of steering rotation without having to move your hands from 9-3 position.

As far as I know, all four tips are functional at all times, valves open or not...

From the sound of it, my hunch is that it was taken with an external mic mounted on the rear bumper (OP please correct me if I'm mistaken).

I normally would like to be closer to the wheel, but I was really struggling with pedal comfort + holding myself in the seat with the wheel. The ergonomics of this car are pretty shit for track use.

I'll probably change out the oil every ~10 hours on the track. There's no way I'll change oil based on mileage or age.

The inner tips are functional, but based on the IR thermometer and the coloring of the titanium, the majority of the exhaust is flowing through the outer tips.

Yup, external mic clipped to the license plate. In the cabin above 50mph all you hear is wind noise. The car does sound great below 50mph with the windows down though.

Indeed, the outer tips on my MPE also show more heat discolouration. However, I still think it is inaccurate to define the inner tips as being the "muffled ones". If you look at the piping arrangement, you can see that the exhaust gases have a more natural and direct path to the outer tips when exiting the rear silencer. If anything, the outer tips see more flow in the muffled (closed valve) configuration.

You're probably right, I have not shined a light into the tip to see how the merger between the muffler and the bypass is routed. Just noticed the color discoloration on a walk-around to check tires/suspension.
