The narrower rear track is what gives it away for me. Admirable effort, no doubt. It's still cheaper in some countries to modify a 320 to look like an m3 than to actually buy one. Plus labor is super cheap. It's not as expensive as you'd think. I'll look for the link and post it here later, unless ssomeone beats me to it. |

BTW, in some other countries M3's, AMG's and such cars are so prohibitively expensive, that what some folks actually do is cut the cars in half before importing them, bring 2 halves into the country as "parts", and finally reconnect the 2 halves once across the borders.
Needless to say, modifying a 320i to look like an M3 is not a bad alternative. And still, MUCH, much cheaper than buying the real thing. Especially with a very creative workforce and dirt cheap labor. We have it reeeeeeal good fellas. Happy Sunday! |

Shit, you're right! Good detective work. Fooled me, but now it's obvious side-by-side.

I was thinking of doing one "uber" run in my F80.... Just not sure how i feel about rando's getting into my car...
Imagine you order an uberX, and it shows "nazario" in a 2015 M3 coming to get you lol

I used to live in Taiwan and I remember jumping into a new C class taxi, I asked him why does he do this having such a nice car??? His reply was that he's retired and lonely, driving around gives him a chance to meet people

Looks like he put a lot of work into the car, but the M3 badging and 4 exhaust pipes really irks me.... it's not an M3 ... the only reason someone would put the badging on like that is to try and convince people the car is better than it is. If it's a 335 be proud you have a dope 335, but it will never be an F80.

I understand, but curious to see what the mindset is though.
Even if a 328i costs more in a certain country than an M3 here, I still don't know what the intention would be of slapping on an M3 badge. I'm all for modding engines, cosmetics and everything, but putting the badge on, regardless of where you are, is still badging it as something it isn't, I would assume in attempts to fool passersby. Just debadge the car and I think it looks great!

why hate on people that are copy cats, its a sign that real m3 is so great people will do anything to imitate it. things like this should put a smile on our faces, not hate. most people know its not real and those they dont know, dont care whether its m3 or 320 to begin with
