VS-5RS are pretty sexy tho and are only outdone by the actual BMW GT4 wheels.

I had a chance to buy the wheels I want in 10.5 et22 but went back/forth for awhile but finally placed an order for 10.5 et37 so I wouldn't have to worry about fitting the rear. Will accept using a big ish spacer in front. |

Btw if anyone is looking to run 18x10 square, BW has their latest wheel out and it's a pretty great deal. Clearly inspired by the E46 CSL wheels - doesn't look half bad on F8X

I'm considering Volk TE37SL's now, I've always loved Volks and just realized they seem to be available as 18x11 +34 which seems perfect as square/rotatable for the GTmore suspension kit.

It's a lot of cost to absorb to then have to resell my current parts. GTmore suspension is a Fantastic setup though if you are starting from stock. |

In any case, 295 square is a healthy amount of tire and there are plenty of very fast cars running that |

So from what I gathered if I run 5" spring up front I'm basically good to go to run 295 square (295/30/18 What I'm not sure about yet is 295/35/18, and whether I can fit helpers. Phil also sees coil bind (100% spring compression as I understand it) as a risk for 5" 800lb and said he usually goes 850lb to be safer |

Anyone ever tried fitting 295/40R18 up front? Seems like it will rub pretty bad with a 40 profile. Picking up a square 10.5 TA5R setup from BW and planning on running 285/35 square.

My F80 Setup Configuration:
Racewerkz in Burbank & EAS: European Auto Source in Anaheim, CA setup the car. Chewerks handles the Track Alignments: MCS 2WR w/ Vorshlag Camber Plates • 5” Swift Primary • Hyperco Helper -3.6 Front Camber, going to ask for -3.8 next alignment Titan-7 Forged Wheels Front Setup: T-S5 +34 w/ 15mm Spacer Tires: I’ve tried & tracked with no clearance issues the: • Yokohama A052 295/30/18 • Toyo RR 295/30/18 * I too was advised against setting up the car like a GT4 with shortened arms & steering restrictors, it’s a street car & I want the full scrub radius. 315 front you can’t do the fast food runs |

Okay wheels are coming in today, now thinking about tire size. Going to run Hankook RS4s next season. My setup will be stock dampers and MPHAS with minimal drop and I would like to run 285/35 square on 10.5et36 with 15mm spacer in front. Anyone foresee any fitment issues?
Edit: as soon as I posted they came in

This guy was running 18x10 square with 285/35 RS4 that I found recently: https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1932505
Although the inner clearance should be different (resolved by your spacer) the height should not pose a problem. If anything the slight stretch should reduce the overall height just a tad. Also found a few examples of F80s running 295/35 from Assist/Laptorr and Sunbeam motorsports that you can find on Instagram. Just know you'll have to play with alignment a bit!

No update yet, just waiting for the end of the year to pick up tires. Also having some other suspension work done first.

Finally got these mounted - 285/35 RS4s on 18x10.5et36. I’m currently running MCS with a 6in spring, my shop has test fitted them and told me I need 20mm spacers to make the fronts clear the perch. Once I have the car back I’ll take some pics.

In the spirit of keeping the tire porn going and getting in the mood for upcoming season, here's a stack of RR 295/30/18 (left), with 10.5" TA5Rs they'll be mounting to (center), and older CR-S 285 + 315's that I need to use up also (right)
