BMW M2 CS vs. BMW M4 Gts - Which one to buy?

https://www.bmwblog.com/2019/11/25/b...ch-one-to-buy/

Already made my decision. Keeping the Gts. Using X3M Comp as a winter/daily.

I see these as covering two quite distinct market segments. Which one one should buy depends on intended use.

I agree with you but I also do think it makes it a lot harder to spend 85K on an M2CS when you can get a low mileage M4Gts for the same price.
For most people those are going to be weekend cars. I also bet that most people do not track their Gts and most M2Cs won't see the track either.
I did not write that article but it makes some good points.

Writer chickens out and refuses to answer his own question.

M2 CS is probably the last good BMW we'll see based on everything confirmed for the future. But it's most likely not enough for me to trade out of my GTS. Especially not once dealers start playing the ADM game

M4 GTS is special kind of car, when you drive one you'll see yourself.
M2 CS is overpriced money grabber, drove M2C, didn't leave any special feeling, while GTS feels so connected to driver and road.
Sound, handling, braking, steering, and adrenaline rush, everything is different on GTS comparing to other M cars.

At MSRP, the GTS was just as overpriced as the M2cs is.

I maintain my point that it's all about intended use.
  • For a weekend fun/track car, the GTS is the better choice of the two.
  • For a fully warrantied practical DD/track dual use car, the M2cs is the better choice of the two.

In my personal opinion though, a GTS that does not see the track is a waste.
