Miss match springs ???
Has anyone seen or tried the combo of SS front springs with Sport rears on the new M4 ?? I'd be very curious to see this set up. I'm contemplating trying it on mine.

Not just changing the rake . . . assuming the springs have a different rate, you'll totally screw up the ride/handling of the car.
Springs provide the foundation of your suspension, and every other part is tuned to a particular spring balance. Front to rear spring balance is one of the key factors that determine ride and handling characteristics. Mixing/matching front and rear springs without proper tuning is literally one of the worst things you can do.

It is more important to have the perfect posture and stance than silly wheel rates and motion rates, you should know better. |

I know I'm fighting a losing battle, and that many people will slam their car on cut springs or $199 ebay coilovers anyway. In these cases, I'm not even responding directly to OP, or telling people like classic6 that they made the wrong decision (maybe it WAS the right decision for him . . . who am I to say? My main motivation is to make sure the facts are accurate and that people have objectively correct information to base their decision on. If I save one life, the fight is worth it
