BMW M4 Competition receives XPEL @ Shine Auto Salon

One of our most customers brought his newly purchased, 16' BMW M4 Competition, to us wanting to protect its pristine paint finish with Xpel Ultimate self healing film. We recommended getting the full front end protected. Full front end protection includes: Full hood, full fenders, mirrors, front bumper and headlights. XPEL Ultimate’s special clear coat not only prevents the film from discoloring due to contamination and ultra-violet radiation, but also heals itself from swirl marks and light scratches that can occur through ordinary washing and drying or daily driving. You can rest assured that your film and paint will stay looking perfect due to the films mirror smooth finish! Let us show you what we did with our customers M4 Competition!

First we must wash the vehicle to make sure there are no contaminants or debris on the car before we lay the film.



The film is precisely cut on a plotter.



Next we spray down the areas which will be protected with film using an alcohol based solvent to get rid of any residue that may have been left behind with the initial wash.



Before we lay the film a special gel is laid onto the paint surface to allow us the freedom to move the film and align it properly without it immediately adhering to the vehicle.







Now that the necessary prepping steps have been completed. It is time to lay the film!

Each piece that gets film installed requires us to add a layer of gel so we can maneuver the film into its appropriate position.
