The comp pack exhaust IS different physically and is actually one of the best sounding exhausts I've heard on the S55. Its not as loud as the MPE but IMO sounds better.

I was on the fence until I saw them in person. IMO the 666's look fantastic and after a couple months with my F80 I absolutely love them. Nothing wrong with the 437's either but I like the 666's better. They also look sinister when the car is in motion.

Folks, I have placed an order for MY17 M3 without ZCP. I still have time to make configuration changes and I was wondering if anyone has opinion about ride quality with ZCP. My wire and I carpool and she is not a fan of rough ride. We had to sell our GTI cause the ride was rough. I had 2011 335i sedan which was not a problem. I have heard in reviews that ZCP actually feels better than stock. Is that true? any personal experiences to share?

It's strange but ZCP ride is actually better than my previous car which was a non ZCP m3. The 20inch rims actually compliment the ride. I don't know how but they do!

The seats are also more comfortable and grab you nicer.

ZCP rides more rough than gti, we happen to drive a gti last spring. ZCP Also rides harder than a 2016 regular m3 with dampers ( comparing same settings). I'm in same situation, wife will not allow anything that's outrageously firm. See my review...

Thanks for your post. I guess I have no choice but to avoid ZCP. I do not want to get in to a situation where both of us cannot enjoy the car. Thanks.

I wouldn't say it's a big difference in ride quality, if any. I guess that must be very important to you to outweigh the benefits of the other upgrades...

I 24 test drove a 2016 M4 and then drove my friends ZCP and like Nick Murray's review found the ZCP to be much more comfortable, softer and smoother ride than the 2016 M4.

Not sure if this was discussed or not (didn't find)

I like everything about ZCP (about $4k wholesale is OK deal IMO)
I like wheels, upgrades, etc.

What I'm not sure about is seats.
Currently I have cloth seats on order. I really like cloth and I don't like leather much here in STL summer.

At the same time I really like looks of ZCP seats.

Questions is:
1. Is ZCP seat cut offs help in a summer to ventilate?
2. Is ZCP seats comfortable? I mean, to me - comfort and ability to adjust is super important.
3. Is rear seats any different with ZCP?
4. Is ZCP seats harder to get in/out of ? I really don't want to struggle getting in car every time..

IMHO, I think the cut offs do help in the summer with keeping more ventilation in the back, especially when driving without AC.

On the comfort side, seats seem very comfortable and the bolsters hold you in place firmly. Some people may complain that there is no lumber support but you can add a pillow. Lastly, don't think the rear seats are any different than non zcp.

Hm. So, rear seats full leather? What if I have base cloth seats? Rear seats will be full leather anyway?

And what about getting/in out of the car? Are those ZCP seats more "buckets" than regular seats?

If you have cloth seats the rear seats will be cloth too. Only the front seat design is different not the rear seat design. If you get leather then both will be leather. There are tons of threads about bolsters on here...some say they are very different and others say they are negligible. I think your best bet would be to find a local ZCP car at a dealer and go sit in it. You could get a 1000 responses but not one of them answer if YOU will like the seats for comfort factor and ease of ingress/egress.

I wish I can find ANY M3 here in STL to sit in. M4 seats obviously different..
I'm set on cloth (I like cloth). But I kind of like ZCP as well and not sure about seats..

The M3 and M4 front seats are identical. Only the back seats are different because of packaging. You can order ZCP with the cloth seats no problem.

+1

I would also add that the zcp seats do feel more bucket like to me than the non zcp, which I like. I have the bolsters set to the widest setting to avoid too much rubbing.

Also, I recently added the carbon Seatbacks and it looks awesome! Can't say enough good things about them.

No they are not.

The M4 backrests need to tilt forward for rear passenger eagress. They also have a button on the back side to electrically move the entire seat forward and backwards.

Yes, I have driven them background to back and the ZCP ride is better.
